If you don't want me to post here, just let me know and I'll remove it.
Zilla padded softly through the snow. the soft crunch as her weight broke through the thin layer of ice over the snow was muffled by the wind rushing all around her. Her ears flicked and turned as she walked, keeping the snow off of them. Her eight eyes roamed the snowy wasteland as her nose twitched at the slight smell of her Creators. They must have just dropped some fresh meat off. A slight smile flinted across her face as she started trailing the scent as best she could, though the snow made it more difficult. Not that this stopped her from giving the new member of the Menagerie a very special welcome.
As she drew closer to the scent of the Creators, she found a new scent that make her mouth water. It was a female and she was already scared. All she had to do was scratch her and watch as she fell to her. She might even play with her food and try to get her to be her friend. The betrayal would make the kill all the more richer. She sighed in anticipation and walked over to where the large building was that dominated the landscape. She looked up as she passed it, noting the graffiti that lined the walls, the colors muted in the snowfall. Zilla didn't bother to hide her approach from the woman, staying in her glowing snow leopard form. It would be easier to explain away the eyes and tail if it didn't follow her into her human form. She thought that her human form was her weakest form simply because it was very conspicuous. She would instantly be spotted as a Virus from a mile away in that form. She knew, however that the woman she was seeking was new. She wouldn't necessarily know that Zilla was a Virus, or that there were many other species here in the place that was her new home. This should be easy. Almost too easy... Zilla thought, slowing slightly. Using a person as bait wasn't unlike the Creators, but they hardly needed to if they wanted to capture Zilla. She had no qualms about being friends with them. They enabled her to kill without prejudice and she was all too thankful for that power. Thinking about it a bit more, she came to conclude that it was no trap, just a new delivery, and right to Zilla's doorstep.
All around her as she drew closer to where the girl was, Zilla heard faint cries of 'Hello'. The air seemed to carry the faint call farther than it should have. Zilla sniffed the air again and was delighted to find that the new arrival was close, very close. Zilla felt her front paw fall through the snow, snapping a slightly sodden twig underneath. Not that she cared, she wasn't trying to sneak up on the girl, and the loud crack of the twig in the cold, windy air would have alerted even the stupidest Shifter or Morph. Zilla only had to come around and see the girl so that she wouldn't be too scared.
"Hello. Are you okay?" Zilla asked, trying her hardest to sound like she actually cared whether or not the pathetic human lived or died, much less was feeling alright. She had a sudden feeling of slight fear and complete loneliness, but she mastered it and sat down beside the girl, using all her will not to attack the girl immediately.

Despite the lightly falling snow and the frigid cold, Dakarai wiped sweat off his forehead with a sleeved arm. He hammered the last couple of nails in place and jumped off the roof of the new shelter he just built, spaced out from the others. If he found any supply of planks or even branches, he set to work. This time he was lucky and found large, splintering planks that would be perfect against subzero temperatures and blizzards. The next rogue to stumble upon this particular abode would be well sheltered from just about any sort of weather pattern. Dakarai was tempted to stay in there himself for a time, but he had to keep moving. It was still daytime, judging from the blinding snowscape, and it wasn't snowing hard. He had to keep looking for his daughter. He refused to think that it was pointless, that he had been wandering long enough to see just about everything in this godforsaken place. But then again, he mused, leaning back on his completed work, he hadn't seen Anaya either. There were plenty of places to hide.
Even though the dome had limits, and indeed he had seen these limits, the sight before him didn't seem to end. He shrugged and kept walking. It didn't matter much to him if he died or not. It was a thought that appeared in Dakarai's head every now and then, a symptom of chronic loneliness. He'd shake it off, of course, and keep moving, but Dakarai only had one purpose in his life: Ebele, even though he had no inkling of what he would say to her if he did find her, and found her alive. An apology? It didn't seem enough. It wasn't enough to Anaya... probably because he couldn't bring himself to be sorry in the first place. Maybe Anaya knew that. Dakarai straightened and pushed off from the wood to start walking. The snow made footsteps difficult and he was already tired from his endeavors, but he kept walking anyway.
He had been traveling for quite a bit before he heard any new sounds. Even though it rarely snowed in Africa and it certainly was never this cold, the environment reminded him of certain parts. The slopes rolled like a desert, and was just as unforgivable. There was no sustaining anything out here. Dakarai had a dim notion that he needed to find something soon, or he'd probably perish, but it had been a long time since Dakarai felt much of anything, much less fear. He kept walking with the same monotonous walk until he reached some boulders, and he stopped.
"HELLO?!"
He jumped at the scream, mostly because he hadn't had any sort of interaction with another shifter for at least several days, and the noise was rather sudden in such abundant silence. The sun had well and truly set by now. Dakarai looked wildly back and forth, even though he had no hope of seeing anything unless it was right next to him, and then his eyes narrowed. Why was she screaming? That was a good way to get killed in this place. Dakarai sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. It would bother him if he didn't at least investigate.
Dakarai approximated where the sound came from and set off, finding a stick to help him balance on the rocks. They were wet and slippery, and Dakarai stumbled a few times. He wished he could shift, but his python form would struggle even more in this cold. He saw the building first, nondescript and lifeless before he saw the pair sitting on the boulders. The first was a young girl, her bright red hair even noticeable in darkness. The other... Dakarai stiffened at a snow leopard next to her. He couldn't put his finger on it... but something didn't feel right. He hunched over, a naturally defensive position, and didn't come much closer. He wasn't sure if he was intruding, and he needed to know what he was dealing with.
OOC: Ditto. Just let me know if I'm intruding either of you and I'll take this off.
