ABILITY;; Camouflage – the ability of her skin to change color and imitate her surroundings, and she can change to almost any color she desires.

PERSONALITY ;; Fen is rather quiet and secluded – at least in the Carna. She tries not to cause trouble or get too emotional, due to the fact that if she becomes upset or even embarrassed, her pale skin will flash with vibrant colors and patterns and be a dead give away to the Carna that she is, in fact, an Anthro. She tends to keep back in the shadows, keeping a wary eye on her twin sister. Though outwardly she seems silent and asocial, she is actually a very loving and caring woman who will not shy away from protecting her sister or others who may need her help. That is to say, she won’t kill for anyone or anything except her sister, and even then she will do it with heavy guilt, remorse and obvious hesitation. She is not really violent, but can fight relatively well due to her natural agility and high intelligence, which is why she was accepted initially into the Carna.

Fen is very stubborn and can be domineering, though she knows when to bite her tongue and restrain herself. Very intelligent and can sometimes come across as stuck-up and slightly haughty – but in reality it is just blunt honesty. Perhaps she is a tad self-absorbed but most people are, though when it comes to her sister she is completely selfless and will do anything for Seija – anything. She is like Seija’s soul, the voice of reason and yet the one who will stand back just to teach her a lesson. She has a very good handle on her emotions, and it has taken her years to build up the skill to mask her anger or control her sadness. (her personality is all over the place right now DX)

HISTORY ;; Fen was born was Glacia Stefenie Mulveine was born into a proverbially normal life – normal parents of middle class, you know the whole shebang and whatnot. Well, she and her identical twin sister Seija were both born into such a life. Fen was born first, and thus her triumphant proclaim to this day that she is the ‘older sister’, if only by a few minutes. From the moment they could walk and talk, Fen was always there for Seija – you see, she was born blind. Fen took it upon herself, almost naturally, to be Seija’s eyes and guide to the world, describing the colors and places with such vivid detail her sister could almost see the world herself. They were inseparable, and even though they were pretty dependent on one another, they could fend for themselves and be quite independent.

Life was normal and peaceful, until their shifting ability was discovered. Seija and Fen had walked to the mall to do some shopping and stayed later than they had realized. Fen walked to try and get a taxi home, or maybe catch the bus, she can’t quite recall, but all she remembers of the fateful day was that she heard Seija’s scream, the cruel laughter of two men; she dashed back from the payphone, cursing that she’d left her blind sister by the doors alone! But the two men had harassed her and backed her into a corner, where she was striking out and flailing against their vulgar passes and prods. Fen was about to scream a challenge when Seija shifted – Fen felt her heart stop. They weren’t…they’d agreed never to shift in public when they first discovered Seija could shift! She cursed her sister’s apparent weakness but understood – the first time she’d shifted, her ankle had been tangled in some tangled rope at the bottom of a lake, and she hadn’t been able to surface – panic overcame her as she began slowly losing consciousness when instinct took over. Suddenly air surged into her lungs and she realized that she, too, was a Shifter.

The two men said something – some curse, and tried to grab the ring tailed lemur – they planned to take the Shifter in for reward money. Fen surged forward with a gargled scream and took the two by surprise, clobbering one over the head with some random weapon she’d found laying around, and grabbing her sister’s small, furry body from the hands of the other with such ferocity he backed off. They were lucky to get away – or so they thought.
The next week, they were at the house. They did blood tests on the entire family and discovered Fen as well as Seija, despite her sister’s best efforts to protect her. They went through testing together, and Fen watched her sister slowly sink into darkness and despair, and though she tried to cheer her up, show her the lighter side of things – apparently she failed.

Her sister was released before her, because the Keepers had something special in store for Fen. For a long while she was kept in isolation, suffering the loss of her twin, her other half, wondering whether she had survived or not – and yet she prevailed. She was released and convinced the Keepers to give her information on her sister, and followed her into the Carna, wary of her new abilities and the fact that she was an Anthro on Carna territory – not the best of places. But she would risk it for Seija, no matter how much she had changed.

BODY BUILD ;; Almost the mirror image of her twin, however Fen is a little thicker in build, with broader shoulders and there is obvious muscle and sinew in her small body, though she does have noticeable curves.

SKIN/FUR COLOR ;; She looks completely human and normal in appearance , which is why she is able to blend in easily in the Carna. However, when she is in any extreme emotional state – whether it be anger, fear, happiness, etc, her skin will flash a multitude of vivid, vibrant colors and patterns, ranging from stripes to spots and every color you could possibly imagine. The colors tend to correspond with her mood – when she’s angry, she’ll be various dark red and browns and black, when she’s happy she’ll be brighter assortment of colors and patterns.

APPAREL ;; Surprisingly, she tries to wear as little clothing as possible – not to say she walks around nude or revealing, it’s a strategic device. She wears a blue tank-top, more like what they call a ‘wife-beater’ (whatever the hell that term means >.>) with a pair of black shorts and a rough, ratty pair of converse sneakers, or barefoot. This is so she will blend in wholly.

ANYTHING EXTRA;; The downsides to her mutation are that she needs to keep her skin hydrated otherwise her ability to camouflage won’t work properly and her skin will flake. Thus, Fen tends to stick near water or carry a canister with her. She also gets easily short of breath as the mutations affect her ability to breathe properly out of water. She can breathe – it’s basically like having a rather severe case of asthma when she doesn’t control her pace, etc.
