The Complex is, technically, the collection of skyscrapers at the heart of the city. To the Fulsi, however, it primarily refers to the three main buildings currently in use. Peripheral buildings are used for various hidden storage caches and the occasional loner who prefers to keep to themselves, but daily life is focused in the central three. These are connected by rope bridges, at the 5th and 10th stories, to form a triangle. The open area between them is known as the courtyard, and announcements and gatherings take place there.
The idea is that in the event of an attack in which they are driven into the towers, the ringleaders can each take one. If the bridges are severed - by the enemy or by the Fulsi, if a tower is breached - there will still be someone in charge. To facilitate communication, whether or not the bridges are in place, mirrors are kept at the windows to pass signals back and forth. Signals are coded, and change regularly, typically only known to the upper ranks. Whistles are also used, in a similar manner.
Despite the fact that they have over 50 floors available, the Fulsi tend to occupy only the first 10 or so. The upper floors were ransacked and abandoned, except for the guards who patrol regularly, to keep watch from height and ensure no one sneaks in through a window.
NORTH TOWER
Previously a hotel, this is the building where the activity is centered, a fact the Fulsi guard ferociously. The ringleaders' quarters are here, and it houses more than half of the ring. Most of the perishable food is stored here, things they intend to eat relatively quickly. There are a couple cold stores hidden in the basement, which is fortified as a safe haven in the event of an attack.
The drains in the building still work, although there is no running water. The kitchens have been re-purposed into a washing/laundry/kitchen area that is run by the omegas. Most of the machinery has been dissembled for parts, but the old fume vents make it possible to have indoor cook fires.
A doorway was made between two large conference rooms, expanding the space, and this is the common area of the building. People gather there for meals, and sleep there when the upper floors become uncomfortably cold or hot.
SOUTHWEST TOWER
Another hotel, this building houses the medical wing, in addition to the Lead Hunter's and the HoBP's quarters. The Chief Medic lives here as well, but unlike the other high-ranking Fulsi, they don't have rooms high in the tower. Instead they stay near the other medics, in order to be close to the patients.
The set up is similar to that of the North Tower, except the cooking is done in a smaller kitchen that is attached to what was once the staff break room. It usually serves the guards, medics, and patients - everyone else typically goes to the North Tower to eat. The hotel kitchen is set up for the medics to preform surgery and boil water for sterilization, not for cooking. Most of the supplies stored in this tower are nonperishable food, medical paraphernalia, and miscellaneous non-weapons, such as rope, lumber, fabric, or scrap metal.
SOUTHEAST TOWER
Unlike the other two towers, this one was an office building. Not many of the Fulsi actually live here, but it is busy anyway, since it houses most of the Fulsi's weapons, in addition to several food stores. Although weapons can be found in either of the two buildings, this is where most of the surplus is stored. Patrols here are constant, and large conference rooms on the lower floors provide a training ground for any tenderfoots on their hunter or scout rotation. It is also a place for people to practice newly acquired skills, familiarize themselves with a new weapon, or to learn a new method of fighting.
It is a place for weapons and tools to be crafted, patrols to meet before heading out, for the leaders to meet and discuss strategy, etc. Although primarily the domain of hunters and scouts, other members of the ring visit to keep in practice, maintain and reinforce the building, or repair weapons.
The higher floors of this tower are highly fortified, just as the other two, even though none of the leaders live here. It is meant to be a place for them to meet and coordinate in the event of an attack, with easy access to weapons and the Battalion.
