The femme had left her warmer clothing behind, long hair left free as she traipsed over the warm sand. It was an hour after the sun rose and she was already struggling a little with the heat. It took her a little time to warm up at the best of times but this was like getting a rusted tin man to move on a hot day. It was a bit slow to say the least. Ireland had never had any weather this warm and it was starting to get to her. Why did she come out into the sand bowl anyhow? She inwardly sighed as her body reminded her, beads of perspiration starting to appear all over her skin. She bit her lip and cleared her mind after a few brief moments...her body shrinking and becoming covered in charcoal, ash and snowy hues. Ahhh...much better. Lower to the ground, she was cooler and more at ease within herself.
Violet turned to look around and scented the air as a blissfully cool and clean smell assailed her senses. Water. The Mudi shifter followed her nose and kept her triangular ears on a swivel in case there were snakes or the like about. Blue-green optics searched the horizon until there was a telltale shimmer and the palm trees came into view. As she stepped around a scraggly bush her paws sank into the two toned sand. It was pretty, but the heat was the price that she had to pay for coming to get fresh water to sustain herself until dusk.
She sped up to a loping run for the last hundred metres or so and practically threw herself down into the water at the edge of the oasis. It soaked into her medium length fur, cooling her even further as she lapped up the cooling liquid with her long pink tongue. However she felt about her canine form now was more positive than it had been when she'd first shifted. Murderess....you murdered that boy. Her ears flicked about and she yawned, stretching languidly before flopping down at the edge of the water again. She had better control of her shift form despite being captured like a common beast and thrown into a cell. They hadn't changed her much apart from making her a little angry whenever they randomly poked or prodded her.
Her train of thought derailed as she scented about and came up with a strange smell...someone else out here? She had no qualms with others unless they didn't recognise that she liked her personal space. She sat up and took in a deep breath, weighing up her options before clearing her throat and letting out that telltail shifter talk.
"May I ask who ye are?" The lilt made her voice sound a little more guttural than she had first intended. She contemplated shifting back but remembered that she had yet to equip herself with any weapons as of yet. At least as a Mudi she had teeth and claws. The huntress wasn't going to attack out of nowhere however, she preferred to wait and see whom or what she was dealing with and if they posed a threat.
