A tall, gangly man in a somehow colorless trench-coat seems to hover next to a slanted lean-to cobbled together with scrap metal, a few sparse, electric bulbs flickering on and off. You notice the sheen of sweat (or is it oil?) on his face as he looks in your direction. A patch sewn onto his vague coat reads 'Denley.' You feel the urge to look away, but can only meet his beady, black-eyed gaze. A smile cracks his pock-marked face, teeth stained mustard yellow as he bobs his head and gives you a half-hearted wave. Your feet pull you closer: heart pounding in your chest, blood rushing in your ears, reaching a crescendo of unease as you find yourself in front of him and a lingering odor of day-old scrambled eggs. "Hey, kid," he rasps from behind stretched, grinning lips and crooked teeth. "Wanna buy some stuff?"

Astral Projection* – 5 tokens A mutation skill where you are able to temporarily extend your senses outside of your body to investigate your surroundings.
{read more ...} You can "leave" your body in an incorporeal "form" but essentially you're just sending your senses beyond normal lengths. Your physical body will be left standing or lying down and exposed to attack unless hidden. This skill can be used to see what's happening in another room, scouting ahead, spying, etc. The projected form can only travel a limited distance, and cannot cross through the electrical barriers (into or out of the Keeper's Compound, for instance.) You are able to shift in the Projected form as well. Projected forms cannot be seen or sensed by anyone unless they are able to Project as well. Extremely skilled Telepaths may be able to hear a Projected Form's thoughts but not see them.
Dream Walking* – 7 tokens The evolution skill of Projection, you are able to communicate with people through their dreams.
{read more ...} This skill can only be used on people with which you have a strong connection with, be it negative or positive. You are able to extend your senses beyond any distance before and connect with them, only if they are asleep. You do not necessarily have to be asleep, but it is more powerful if you are. This skill cannot be used to track the location of another person, as you are not seeing through their eyes or controlling anything. You are simply communicating with them almost as a telepath would, but from a distance and in a projected form.
Hemorrhage* – 5 tokens– Mutation skill that gives the character the ability to expel their blood at will, either from eyes, nose, ears, etc). Often used as a defense mechanism (people might think you're infected with a terrible disease/dying or easier to fake death) or blood trails for tracking. May make the character weaker, depending on how much blood is expelled.

Compulsion* - 7 tokens With this mutation skill, when you hit someone, you can force them into their alternate form and prevent them from shifting for a short amount of time.
{read more ...}E.g. You punch a tiger Shifter, the force of which causes her to shift back into her smaller, weaker human form. She tries to shift back, but can't, blocked by a rush of pain. Now you can run away or continue the fight but on more even ground, etc. This skill does cause lingering pain in the target that stops them from being able to shift. But they can still fight, etc.
Lock Collar* – 5 tokens A collar that binds the target in the form that they are in until it is removed by the person who attached it.
{read more ...}The collar can be customized in appearance, but its basic form is a small, extendable chain housed in a small computerized base so that it can be fastened at different sizes for different creatures (can fit a house cat or a horse, for example.) This device can only be unlocked by the hand of the person who attached it. The Keepers do have an over-ride key, but may not be inclined to use it.
Hyperperception* - 7 tokens – A mutation skill that enables you to give yourself a boost of adrenaline and speed up your perception.
{read more ...} You perceive events at an incredible speed and "slow down" events that are happening around you for small section of time. This ability is difficult to control at first, but it does help you to respond better to a surprise attack, react better in an extreme situation, and be able to think things through even though you have only a moment. This ability is not, in fact, a way to control time, but a way to speed up your thought processes and make it appear as if everything is moving at a snail's pace for a brief moment. Ban Pass – 10 tokens – Gives you the ability to go around any ban (Shift, group, etc.)
Second Shift – 20 tokens – Gives your character the ability to shift into another animal.
Fantasy or Extinct shift – 100 tokens – Replaces your character's original shift and through DNA mutations creates a new fantastical shift form. Can be combined with a Second Shift Pass to keep original shift and have Fantasy shift added as a second shift.
In the corner of the lean-to, you see a much smaller, rounder man sitting on a stool, wearing an old trucker's hat with the name 'Caarl' stitched crookedly across it. Caarl seems to be whittling a cob of corn and chewing on a fat, unlit cigar. There is a growing pile of corn kernels at his feet from his whittling. Why?

Exotic mount - 1200 CP - Any large animal that could be considered rideable with minimal training and is not too dangerous to be kept in a Ring. Use some judgment when choosing! Obviously no lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants, etc things that are hard to keep. Comes with saddle/control mechanism of your choice.
Regular horse mount - 900 CP Any breed of horse. Comes with saddle/bridle of your choice.

REFUNDING ITEMS PURCHASED WITH TOKENS – You cannot be refunded in tokens, only CP. The return rate is 50CP per token price. Second and Fantasy shifts require a Ctrl+ Z pass to refund if they were applied. Transfers of skills to other characters are Ok!
