The night hung thick in the air, spring’s suffocating humidity looming over the ground in a very fine mist. It coated everything in small droplets of water, replenishing the thirsty, blooming flowers and, conveniently, drowning out some of the nearby scents. The thin veil of water acted much like a buffer, dulling their presence and heightening their chances of catching their prey with the element of surprise on their side.
There’d been a raid recently, and thus a second one in such quick progression was unexpected. They’d be fools to try such a thing – it was reckless, dangerous, and crazy. Common sense echoed from the back of any sane creature’s mind, even whispering subtly into those who were a little jumbled up as well. But weren’t those the best descriptive words for the Carna? After all, simply because you knew what common sense was, it didn’t necessarily mean you’d follow through and listen to it – it simply meant you knew what others figured would make sense, and that was an excellent way to estimate what someone would and wouldn’t be expecting.
True to form, from the depths of the night descended the three – all with the familiar spark of mischief in their eyes, as well as the telltale scent of death following in close pursuit, like some sort of omen.
Adriana’s face, like the others, was painted – disguised underneath random designs drawn out in blood and soot. Her green eyes stared out at the new landscape, curiosity pooling in their depths as she headed further down one of the streets. They’d passed the borders a while back - it’d been surprisingly easy. Then again, two black felines and a snake were easily hidden under the cover of night. She walked in her human form now though, her hand tightly grasping the handle of a fire poker. The length of the instrument rested on her shoulder, while the pointed tip hung in the air, waiting to be put to some sort of use. It was all she’d brought with her, not including a bag that she’d previously tucked into her pocket, in case they did end up stealing something. For whatever else the group got themselves into for the night, her shift was enough to instill a decent scare in someone’s heart – after all, who wouldn’t be weary of a rattlesnake in a place with little to no anti-venom?
“So, where do we go first?” she murmured, turning her head to look at the two Carna women beside her. Technically, they’d come without a plan – just a general idea of what they wanted to do. It wasn’t exactly stupid – if there were plans, there were rumors, snitches, and whispers uttered through the night. They’d avoided that easily by going in with only the general idea that they were out for blood. It was wild, if not a little careless – but it wasn’t without it’s advantages. They were a few different degrees of recklessness. There was the kind where you were in a hurry, and thus often got caught up in a web of trouble. You were too sloppy, too messy, too loud or too obvious. That was often reserved for novices and amateurs. But the girls, they landed firmly on their feet in the other definition. Soaring past the usual terms of the word, they got to the point where it almost seemed like things fell right into place and luck was on their site. It was so crazy that it might have actually worked. Quite frankly, it was hard to tell whether or not they’d get away with their mischief, but one thing was sure – so far, everything had gone just right. The ball was in their court tonight.

Kitty was not feeling like herself as of late.
It hadn't been long since her run-in with that mono virus, Theolinus, or whatever his name was. And now she had a fever. Naturally. She'd never taken well to illnesses in general; she was always the one in her family who came down with something and it always hit her hardest. So then the dome was faced with a sweaty, fever-crazed girl who already had a violent streak.
Never, ever think that things can't get a little more interesting, right?
So, when one of the girls suggested that they do something, Kitty was all over the idea. No matter how stupidly reckless and unplanned it was, she was just full of energy and ready to go. She had had a lot of fun painting faces with the other two, Harley and Adriana, and it had almost felt like a girls' night out- just a little more extreme than what most are used to. And a lot more violent. The night air was almost beautiful, and disguised as a panther, she felt invincible, larger than life, even. The feel of the earth beneath her massive paws, the subtle breeze, the sense of knowing that this was going to be an unforgettable night- it all coursed through her as sure as blood did. As she stood with the two other Carna on Fulsi territory, she felt majestic, and extremely powerful. This must be what a leader felt like. She'd only felt this good once before, when she went on her Analoya rampage. She didn't regret a thing, of course.
Regrets were for people who had anything to be ashamed of, and that definitely wasn't Kitty.
She shifted back into her human form when Adriana did, not wanting not be able to stand on two feet any longer. Sure, tearing was fun, but breaking was much more fun. That was why she had brought a baseball bat, her axe strapped to her back, ready to come out in case of a REAL emergency. But she really preferred the bat, to be honest. It was much more personal, and a lot more fun... for her.
She stood there and scanned the area around them, rolling her neck. "There's just too many good places to raise hell... I can't choose just one to start at! You choose, Harley," she said, looking at the other Carna female, patiently awaiting her answer. She cracked her fingers, the adrenaline rushing through her like you wouldn't believe.
THIS SUCKS SO BAD IT'S CRAZYYYY BUT... HERE YOU GO.

She wasn't entirely sure how any of this started, but she was going with it anyways. It had been a quiet night with the other girls, well as quiet as it could ever be in The M, and they had been relaxing from their various duties. They had been relaxed, though Kitty hadn't seemed completely well, and somehow they had gotten a completely insane idea into their heads. Of course, no one ever accused Carna of being sane.
They had slinked their way past the border into Fulsi territory, which was much easier then it should have been she noted smugly, in their shifts. After all, it was extremely easy for two black cats and a snake to sneak through defenses at night. She shifted with the other two girls, coming up to her full height of five feet, the shortest of the three, as she gazed around, trying to decide what they should do first.
She grimaced slightly as sweat began to form on her skin thanks to the humidity. She pushed her black bangs out of green eyes, her hand ghosting across the soot and blood that painted her face. A black hand print covered most of her somewhat pale face, the moonlight softly gleaming on the exposed skin of her face, shoulders and arms.
If they were going to pull this off, and the three of them were determined to, then it would talk a lot of guts, stealth, and some pure blind luck. Ok, more then a little luck. They were probably going to end up with injuries, but the Carna were known for their stupid brave stunts. Besides, as someone pointed out (probably Adriana), the Fusi were still recovering from the last raid that occurred a few days before. They wouldn't expect the Carna to do something as crazy unexpected as to raid again in such a short amount of time.
Harlequin's eyes flashed to Kitty, a smirk forming on her face. "Oh no, this wasn't my idea. I'm not the one picking, that's up to Adriana," she glanced at the rattlesnake shifter before she bent down and picked up the rust metal pipe that she had carried between her jaws during their trek. She wiped her saliva off on her black tank top before she popped her back.
If they were going to cause havoc and chaos in Fusi territory, then she was going to milk it for all it was worth. of course, the other girls had been smart enough not to give the jaguar a lighter. If they would have, then she would have gone a little crazy with the destruction.
