The day was one that was not memorable nor one that was fairly enjoyable. Rain gently pattered to the earth in gentle streams to chill the bone as a cool wind whipped through the many valleys and niches in the Menagerie. The Keepers seemed to be shaking the weather up for once because instead of it being completely cold, it seemed to stay a steady fifty degrees as the sun peeked in the sky behind the grey clouds that swirled in the sky ominously as thunder crackled in the distance. It was strange weather in the winter, but no completely unheard of. The sudden wave of hot, and cold had created a thunderstorm that was slowly rolling over the land causing many of the inhabitants to curl up, and hide so they would not be caught in its wake. Only one lone figure seemed to stand against the overall greyness of the scene, and this being shone a very dark gold against such a dark expanse.
Percylla slowly moved out of one of the many territories that littered the area of her new 'home.' Well, not really a home, it was more of a cage than anything else, and she had no desire to go near the edges to be stared at. She understood that she was kept there to be experimented and toyed with while the outside world watched in awe, therefore she stayed away from those areas of the enclosure. Her scarred, and muscular form stopped for a couple of seconds as she adjusted something large in her mouth which limply flopped back, and forth. To her it was dinner, to the ring that she had just left, it had been a friend, and member. The limp German Shepherd hung from her strong jaws. The poor creatures eyes held the glaze of death with its maw hanging in a silent scream to tell the horrors of its death. The head of the canine was only held on by a thin flap of skin, and the legs had been chewed off so it was easier to carry. A trail of blood was in the mute's wake, but she saw nothing wrong with it. She was just doing what was natural, and since she was one of the higher beasts on the food chain, she had a right to eat this boy sap. Survival of the fittest.
What she saw as normal was an act of cannibalism, but of also self defense. The dog had attacked her without being provoked, and it only took a swipe of her paw, and bit of her powerful jaws to finish her prey, and in the end she got a meal. It was a win win situation in a sense, but she did no expect such a vengeful crowd slowly crawling up on her scarred heals. She did not expect the ring to come after her, she thought that eat or be eaten was a common idea in this place, but she seemed to be very wrong.
Yells resounded through the area as a group of Fallen ran up in the distance, and Percylla picked up her meal, and bounded a couple of yards straight into Carna territory before setting the slab of flesh down. She turned around in a defensive position before the the group of men broke through the brush, and unknowingly crossed over the border with her. The large lioness' ears went backwards as a dead, and broken growl ripped out of her chest as a widening stance was taken. Percy was ready for a fight, and these boys would not make it out alive if she had anything to say about it, but she knew that she would not be making the first move. Mismatched eyes narrowed as her teeth glinted ominously against her hulking frame.
To her this was an outrage. She had killed this prey fair, and square, she did not care if the body held some sentimental value to this group of heathens. IT was food. Once a creature was dead it was better to eat it, and not let it go to waste. That was perfectly good meat that could feed her for the next day or two. These knew enemies did not know what they were getting into. The largest one in the group turned into a full grown black bear. The bear shifter rushed forward, and attempted to claw at her throat. A red haze over took her eyes, and everything went into darkness. A flash of blood, and scream of pain from the other shifter was all it took to set her off into a murderous rampage.

Seija had been out hunting - the sack of dead rabbit in her bloodied sack was proof enough. As she deposited it to the lower Hunters to skin and cook, she made sure to find a few of her more trusted Hunters. She didn't feel like overlooking the fire today, as she gave the duty to Kojak as she walked off.
Her sight had dissapaited since the Keepers had decided to give her the taste of it - and with the darkness that welcomed her, her heightened mood had settled a little less on edge. She remembered the vivid colors of the blood that poured from open wounds, the images that matched the texture of the insides of the Fulsi she had split open upon killing them. An amused grin played upon her lips as she sauntered away from the tunnels and past the docks; deciding on a border stroll before her few hours of collapsed rest. Insomnia was a gift, but every so often she forced her body to re-coup.
Her footfalls were light, rolling into the earth with the slightest breath of movement. The vibrations from her light footfalls as well as natural happenings made her 'sonic-vision' light, but enough for her to see a few ticks out from her constant location.
Yells, growls and a scream perked her interest as she paused, her head tilting back as she breathed in the scent around her. The smell of death, and Fallen reached her nose. Though the heavy earth scents masked everything, and there was no other scent - even of Carna. She suspected rogue then, and then proceeded to ponder if she should make her way over. They could be dancing the line of the border -- and yet it still came to terms in her mind that she didn't mind sinking her teeth into the flesh of the traitorous peace-loving desert scum. Her straight, white grin shifted into canines as her form shrunk to the four-legged canine she now so often loved to roam in, her head arched with a purpose as she skittered across the land in search of the scuffle.
Finding such a thing, her waves sent her the image before her. Four Fallen, one other - a rogue, and a dead shifter whose once canine body she felt, began shifting back to it's original form. The thin boy lay there unmoving, the coppery smell of death floating to her fogged over eyes. Shifting back once more she let her hand reach up to the clasp of the chain-whip that crossed over her torso, letting it slide from her like a metallic serpent she gripped the handle tightly. The coiled chain at her feet soon screamed across the distance, like an extension of her arm as the spike end ripped through the neck of one of the males, the chain coming to a halt to only viciously circle and wrap around the boys throat as she grinned. He gurgled and sputtered as he fell to his knees, hands grasping at the chain in a vain attempt to release the pressure. She pulled back to send him onto his back, his gaze and head turning towards her. Even though she couldn't truly 'see' him, she remembered the look of horror that the Fulsi group had had as she killed them. She replayed it in her mind as she tugged the chain with un-equaled force to drag his body towards her. He tried to scream, in-human sounds coming from his throat and vibrating through the chain in her hand, and she only smiled.
Once he lay at her feet she tilted her head, looking down to him as he lay there, his struggling having sobered as he stared, every breath coming in wet rattles in his chest. She grinned, the storm that had been growing louder sending an arc of lightning across the sky as she bent forward slowly, having pulled the skinning knife from her boot sheath. She hovered the knife above him, his breath catching as she giggled, having known he probably realized the chain was giving him the pressure the wound needed to stay alive, by now. She brought the knife to her lips then, letting the sharpened lip draw blood from her lower lip as she crouched above him, the thumb of her knife hand brushing over her lip to then lower and drag over his own. She heard the whimper from him, his lips trembling and cold under her hands as she moved the knife to drag across his. He hissed, though weakly, as he tried to turn his head away from her. Sheathing the knife once more she grabbed his face, lowering her head to press her lips against his.
His lips trembled, his breath shuddered, and her lips moved against his as he took a last, shuddering breath against her mouth; the death rattle filling the air as she tilted her head up. Another arc of lightning happened, the thunder closer this time, as she heard a cry of rage. She had glanced to the fight between the bear shifter, another Fallen and the rogue and barely noticed the girl, tears of rage mingling with the rain no doubt in her mind, coming at her. She was a slight thing, running at full force towards Seija; not that Seija was a giant by any means really.
"Lookit this ... so you want to play, too?" she said in a lilting voice, her tones dark and laced with the madness that she always carried with her in a cloud. She let the whip slip from her hands, the 'sliiink' of the metal pooling on the earth as she grabbed her three-bladed hunting knife from it's sheath to spin deftly in her hands before side-stepping the girls arc of an attack with some form of blade. She giggled loudly as she danced around, dodging each swing. "Why is it that rage blinds the normal, person? And yet everyone knows but never listens. Death is knocking, girl...," she said as she licked the mingled blood of her own and the comrade of hers she had left on the ground. The slight sting making her grin pull wider as her hair began to mat down from the rain. The girl only screamed in response as she charged the blind nymph once more, not realizing as the Lead Hunter side-stepped she moved the hunting knife to slide into the girls mid-abdomen, a mixture of a gasp and scream coming from her as she swung her blade at her again.
Seija had to admit, as she caught the others wrist with her free hand, that the girl had a fighting vigor in her that could've been taught. Her eyes, although sightless, seemed to hold a flash of sadness; though it was only at the thought that the female could've been put to so much more use in the Carna. She easily bent the girls arm back and up to her throat, making the girls blade rest at her neck as she stood there, blood pooling over her hand and arm, staining her clothes in the front as the girl grasped at Seija's throat in vain. "Hyvää yötä, armas" she whispered before dragging the knife across the girls throat and twisting her knife simultaneously, pulling it out of the girl as the female crumpled to the ground.
Pondering the usefulness the girl could've had for but a moment more she turned to swivel her eyes towards the rogue and the other two. Surveying what scuffle they had and the outcome that now lay before her.
OOC | Hyvää yötä, armas | Goodnight, sweetheart. ... Sorry about the delay -- when Seija goes cray sometimes it takes me a bit to write. u_u;; 1230 words <.< Holy crap that's unusually long.

Her body reacted naturally as the two other Shifters came after her. From the first attack the bear recoiled with a good slash across its face which made the beast crumble back holding its wound with a pained cry while the other one came after her in human form. The red haze in her gaze did not stop her from mentally calling the boy an idiot as he attempted to shove a knife into her ribs. The large lioness gracefully feigned to the side before rising on her back legs in a quick motion before using her paw to pushed on the top of the boy's head before shoving his face into the ground. A hard squelch was heard, and the boy just lay there twitching. Behind her she could feel the breath of the bear on her neck. Out of the corner of her eye a paw came, and she pushed her rump into the air to dodge.
She bear was not expecting her to do such an act, and it seemed a very unnatural move even for a shifter to make. Percylla stood on her front paws as the bear stumbled underneath her. A couple of seconds her rump as in the air before her back paws came crashing down on the bear with painful, and almost blinding force. The mute dug her claws into the head of the poor creature which successfully cut into the left eye of the beast before she decided it was time to end this.
Percy jumped backwards, and attached herself to the back of the bear with long claws, and sharp teeth. The bear jumped back with the large predator attached to its back like a leech before the Lioness was no longer there. Instead the form of a muscular, young girl clung to the the creature that dared try, and hurt her. The large eyes of the mute were wild, and blanked as she wrapped her strong arms around the bear's neck. She grit her teeth revealing there sharpness, and dug her clawed fingers into the throat of the massive brute with a windy growl echoing in her throat as the bear screamed at her, and attempted to swipe her off. She felt her sharp nails dig into the neck of the beast, and something wet slowly started to soak her fingers as the bear went mad as her hands slowly ripped through the soft fur, and flesh until she felt the pipe. Her fingers wrapped around it, and viciously squeezed.
The bear finally shuddered, and fell underneath her, and it lay there twitching as she pulled harder, and harder. Finally, there was a crunch, and the bear wheezed in the throes of death. Slowly, she pulled out her blood covered hand from the being. The fur from the bear slowly receded to reveal an older woman with her head bent to the sides, and fingers twitching violently as her body drained of bloody, and her lungs could no longer procure air from the wind pipe that was now mangled, and useless. The mouth of the woman hung open, and gurgling sound escaped her as blank eyes stared up at Percy. It did not take long for the woman to die, and the haze slowly left her.
Percylla tilted her head slowly to the side as she stared down at the body with not sadness, but a strange glow held in that gaze. A gentle sigh escaped through her with a deep groan coming from her gut before she finally noticed the other girl. Her mismatched eyes did not narrow, but widened. The girl did not seem to be a threat at he moment as she slowly moved away from the bloody area. The thunder rolled, and lightning struck, and she finally noticed the rain. Percy slowly brought froward her hand, and watched the blood mix with the rain upon her palm with almost a sort of confusion, and calmness before looking back at the other girl.
The mute took in a deep breathe of air to take in some scent from her, but the rain seemed to halt such an idea all together. This other girl was not a threat, but she was not sure the relationship between her, and the assumed other shifter which held a chain with two bodies that laying at her feet. The women was obviously older than her, but Percy would not comment on that. Hell, she was a mute. She could not even say thank you to her. The lack of a voice did have a tendency to get annoying, but she had to accept it or go mad. Her attention was on the girl now, but she would brought out of it by another growl from the deepest part of her gut.
The lioness slowly turned her head, and wen from her human form into her more versatile feline skin which warmed her in such weather. Slowly, she moved in on the dead boy's body like a shark before sniffing, and poking at the different points of him. She wrapped her teeth around the head of the creature that was barely dangling there, and pulled it off before tossing it to the side so she could be to work on the body. She seemed only to really be interested in the back wraps , and arms of the boy as she ate. Anything lower was not something she was to get into, but she ventured to eating his chest, and guts in a methodical fashion. She seemed completely enveloped in her meal, but her ears were perked in the directions of Seija, and her large eyes were watchful as she kept her body turned away from her so if she needed to get out of here then she would. The crazy eyed girl understood that she was not welcome in the different territories, but she seemed to hungry to really care about right now. There was a warm, and succulent meal right in front of her.
(OOC: OKay... Little bit more gory than needed here >_>, and over a 1000 words which is... okay.. I guess. XD)

She 'watched' the other, a silent and immobile figure that hardly moved as the rain continued to soak her to the bone and the blood that had coated her arms and legs slowly curved down the muscles of her body and into fabric or the soft earth. Who was this rogue to think she could kill upon the border so easily? But on the other hand, the rogues enemies were her own, and no Carna ever complained at the sight of dead desert dwellers. A grin, and she slid her knifes into their respectful places. A light, indecisive sigh and she grabbed her metal serpent and slowly pulled it into a loop, stopping as she had to yank it from the males neck from before. A cracking, followed by and odd squelch and pop was all she needed before it came free; it was methodically coiled back around her body and snapped together into place.
She glanced over again, the rogue having converted to her animalistic form. She wondered, then, if it was a reverse shifter. One whom was more comfortable in the skin of the feral beasts they always were; and only used their two-legged skins to blend in and fight with some advantage - depending on the situation of course.
"Rogue," she stated lowly, in a commanding tone as she began forward in a slow, but steadily advancing gait. "Whatever business you had with the Fallen, the Carna are not a part of it. I consider you a temporary ally considering the Fallen are but a nuisance and enemy to I," she said lightly, her voice slowly loosing any semblance of normal to transform into it's usual lilt and wandering tones.
She held the silence for a moment, the only thing breaking it was the sound of this girl ripping flesh from the bones of their victims and the white noise of the rain coming down; along with the rumble of thunder and crack of lightning every so often. She didn't move the hair from plastering to the front of her face either, it's not like she needed it anyway.
"Passerby? Or purposely looking for a fight?" she inquired. In the back of her mind she wasn't particularly sure why she asked; but she blamed the good mood she had been in for the better part of a couple weeks due to her vision being back.

Her ears perked back as she listened to the girl talk behind her as she continued to chew on her earlier victim who had caused the fight in the first place. Her large eyes narrowed slightly as she watched her with entrails hanging from her maw before clamping down to break them down and slurp the rest of them up. It only took her mere minutes to strip the body of meat and the organs and once she was done she pushed the body with a paw before licking her muzzle in an almost lazy manner. It was not long before she transformed back into a human so she could converse with her in an easier fashion.
Blood trailed down her face and chest from the rain as she pulled a stick out of the nearby grass and flattened some soft earth with her foot. She used the stick to write down the work 'FOOD' in capital letters before moving back to also write down, 'MUTE' just above it. A sigh escaped her lips as she leaned on the stick with her head resting on the butt in a somewhat relaxed manner. She was not a threat at the moment nor would she never be a threat to the girl in front of her. She helped get rid of the enemy, therefore she was fine in her book.
Percylla leaned back against before running her fingers through her hair and shaking off the rain. She could already feel the cool air start to affect her and the rain start to cause her to shiver in the first place. It was somewhat unnerving and uncomfortable to be in such weather in her human form, but she could deal with it for now. A little cold never really killed someone, she may catch a cold, but doubted it would be a very bad one if she did.
