Finally! Spring was here! The ice had all melted and the warmth had brought an easier life for all. It was a time of rebirth. It was also bath time. Yeah, since the winter was somewhat harsh it was very hard to really try to get clean at any point leaving many of the inhabitants within the Menagerie very unclean, especially Percylla. It was hard to describe how filthy she was. Mud caked within all of her cracks and crevices mixed with the blood from all of her meals. Her teeth had pieces of flesh peeking out all over the place. Her hair had grown wild and very unkempt. Her clothes which were at least somewhat wearable at the beginning of the winter were discarded which left her buck naked. The only place she could think to go to clean up well was the first place she woke up, the docks.
She walked in the bare along the gravely shore looking for something shark and came up with a piece of glass and a sharpened stick before she headed into the water. First, her teeth. She shoved the stick in her mouth and rubbed and jabbed her teeth clean. It was a long process, but after fifteen good minutes of rinsing her mouth out and rubbing her unnaturally sharp teeth were all white an gleaming as they used to be. Percy's mismatched eyes went to the stick in her hand to see all the debris and disgusting grit that came off on it and tossed it to the side. She already felt better with a clean mouth.
She moved deeper into the water and took the piece of glass and wet it to start with the shaving. She shaved about everywhere. Her legs, underarms, and the sides of her head and then she shortened the mess of her curls running down her back so it was only probably an inch long again. Oh, it felt wonderful. Once she was done with that it was tossed on shore before she dunked herself underneath the still warming water.
A feeling of excitement sprang in her gut as soon as the cold really hit her system. She kept herself there quite a while scrubbing. and rubbing her body against the sandy bottom. This caused the water around her to turn a deep, red brown as all of it came off of her. She swam out of the cloud before sinking down again to look at her blurry body underneath the depths. She could actually see her skin color and her scars were more prominent now that she was clean. Oh, it was euphoric.
Feeling the need to breath Percylla broke to the surface and slowly moved into the shallows so she could lay on her belly. Her large eyes wondered around as she wallowed in the relaxing waters. Her muscular body relaxed as she started to dose slightly. It was very rare for her to actually get into water so she could get clean so she was keen on enjoying it. Of course, when these peaceful times were around it caused her mind to wonder.
Why was she alone? It was something that plagued her mind. Percy had always been a loner, but now that she was older she was starting to crave a 'pride' of her own, but she knew that would never happen. Ever since she came into this damned place she had made a name of terror for herself, even though in nature she was harmless. She only attacked if someone else came at her and only ate other Shifters when she was hungry. Hell, she never even ate children. She saw it as somewhat cruel to do so. She guessed that her state of mind was significantly different than the other shifters around these lands. The Lioness guessed she would stay solitary. She moved slightly onto her side.
