The wind blew cold against the strangers skin causing him to shiver. His black silhouette moving silently under the sky's shadow. The rusty metal swings creaked on their hinges as the man pushed them lightly. It was silent with a few ghostly sounds of laughter of children who might have played here. There is large splinters of wood scattered around from the disintegrating wooden benches that surround the edge of the playground.
The clouds over head pushed themselves forward revealing the moons light which spotlight the man. He slowly lifted his head to the sky, his bright blue eyes mirroring the orb in the sky. "Wow, Don't you look badass standing there like a lonely soldier" A humorless voice said from the treeline near the swings. The man moved his gaze to his companion, smiling in a childish manner. "Really? Because I could pose for you if you like the view." He bent over slightly lifting his pinkie finger to the corner of his mouth in a innocent 'Opps' look. His friend rolled his eyes and snorted, "Save it for the women, Theliel. We have a job to do" He turned marching dutifully into the parks surrounding forest.
Theliel laughed, bounding after him a goofy grin on his face. The forest was quiet except for the faint buzzing of a fireflies wing as they danced around them. Theliel slowed a little to watch the elaborate light show around them. The tiny florescent creature wallaced in and out of the moon light which peeked through the swaying leaves. His skin crawled with the nightly buzz as it reminded him of all the happy celebrations he used to go to as a kid. He turned to tell his friend only to see his friend brood shoulders yards away. Theliel panicked slightly racing after him, delighting in the sound of his feet moving across the slick leaves. "Wait up!" He called urgently ahead of him.
Theliel bid the fireflies a silent farewell as he caught up to his friends side. His companion relaxed as Theliel approached, but didn't sound relieved, "Do you have to be so loud?" He asked an edge in his tone. Theliel just shrugged obvious to his friends annoyed tune and continued on their patrol.
