HELPFUL HOW-TOS This isn't required reading by any means! But we do have a lot of codes here on the M that can get kind of confusing or overwhelming for those who have never seen them before! So! We've provided some handy "How-Tos" for all your "how to, how do?" needs! If you see something that's confusing or think of something you'd like to see here, please feel free to send us a PM! Editing/Linking Your Avatar }   { 2. Filling Out Your Mini-Profile } Field Types: There are some specific types of formatting that the Mini-Profile fields will accept. They are highlighted below, and then explained in detail in the next image.  Mini-Profile Example with highlighted fields:  Image URL Only Fields: These fields will appear as images in your Mini-Profile (MP), and are URL only. For both "BigAvatar - 225x400" and "ShiftPicture - 100x100 or 70x70," simply take the URL of your desired image and paste it into the field. As you can see in the example above, "BigAvatar - 225x400" will appear when you hover over your original avatar. As the title suggests, your BigAvatar should be 225px x 400px in size. Please keep in mind if your images aren't exactly this size, it can cause issues with the performance of our MP codes ): So we ask that you please make all images the requested sizes! The same applies for the "ShiftPicture - 100x100 or 70x70". In the MP example, you can see the ShiftPicture image shows up in Tab II of your MP. Your image can be either 100x100 or 70x70. If your image is 100x100, it will automatically be resized to 70x70 by the code, so don't worry! Link URL Only Fields: These fields show us as links in your MP, as seen in the example. Like the image URL only fields, simply copy and paste the URL of your desired thread into the fields! And there you go! Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Text Only Fields: These fields are called text only, but you can use UBBC codes in them! These fields will be displayed in your MP in various tabs, so see the example for specifics. Fields including "Played By - OOC", "Shift Animal" "Skills", "Items", "Weapons"or "Pets" can all use UBBC code. You can use Links Links: [a href="url here" ]text here[/a] Use the Linebreak code to get a list format: this is an example of line breaks Tagging: Adelina Russovo Just make sure to scroll down and hit "Save Changes." And then you're done! Easy as pie~ Just as a side note, if you ever need help resizing an image for avatars or shift pictures, please feel more than free to PM mo money for help. She is more than happy to help with images ANY time! { 3. Posting Templates }This code allows you to save Posting Templates of your custom table and posting codes to each of your individual accounts!         You can use this code for various different codes around the site, from posting tables to Keeper Shop Forms and other things you don't feel like copying and pasting over and over again! { 4. Enabling Drafts }This is a handy tool that Proboards has provided us with, but I find that not many people know about its existence! It's a nifty code that saves your progress as you type and helps to restore a post you may have lost.   { 5. Default BBCode for Posts }This is another handy tool from Proboards, similar to the "Posting Templates" code. This will appear automatically on all your posts. Again, these are different for each individual account you may have.   |
