The snow was falling in large amounts on the Inn. Though at the same time there was no wind to carry it, just large accumulated amounts. By now it was a good six inches deep in some areas, while in others it was only one or two. This would change soon though once the falling snow had more time to build. Who knows how much will be left in the wake of this relentless flurry. Surprising how the old building was still standing, it had to have live with the snow coming down like this on a regular basis, and was still standing. Who knows how many winters it had to deal with, not to mention rain, thunder storms, and other disasters the keepers have planned for the being within the dome. Of corse this had to be some messed up way of crowd control right, these people weren't just killing the innocent for entertainment! After all so many people must have to live under the dome, and with limited food and ground they had to control the populous some how.
As the snow continued to fall so did a new comer, only she fell a few feet, and the snow broke her fall. Once she landed the cold damp snow touched what bare flesh she had, and began to soak into her cloths. Quickly she jolted up and brushed the snow off, knowing she didn't what to die due to hypothermia or frost bite. Once Sage stood up she noticed what was around her, snow. It had been a life time since she had seen the powdery fluff that was snow, and how it reminded her of home. Then she realized where she was, the Dome, Menagerie, and this was not a home, but rather a prison ment to hold her and anyone like her. Taking her eyes off the sky and the ground she looked around for shelter, now she was beginning to realize how cold the air around her was, and how the snow storm was picking up.
Sage was hesitant, the building was rickety and looked as if it would break at any moment. She couldn't trust that it would hold, but realized how limited her options where. It was either the building, or freeze to death. She chose the former and entered the building. As she walked in she noticed how the building was so worn and in fact on its last legs. Making her way through it she found skeletons of rooms, empty bed frames, and other items of unimportance. A shiver when up her spine, her jacket was damp and it only sucked the body heat out of her. She took it off and hung it from one of the few remaining door nobs. Then she went into that room, which was still in some form of shape, and climbed under a bed frame. She figured two things, if she was cold she needed to curl up to conserve body heat, and if the building fell on her the bed frame would give some protection, right?
