This was the perfect place to keep up her climbing skills. She was built for cliffs like this, her body lean and agile with large paws and claws that could dig into the rock itself should she lose her footing... Which wasn't very likely. If there was one animal that was built to run along the cliffs and be perfectly at home... It was a snow leopard. And with all the time she had spent in the mountains of West Virginia, she was more than used to mountainous terrain. She pushed her body to go past its limits, making a game out of her exercises.
She hadn't been here very long, she was actually rather new to the Carna. She had spent two years on the run from the Keeper's pets that they had sent after her and her mother two years ago. One thing that she could say about her mother... They would never be able to get her now. She had been killed while trying to give Phoenix time to run for freedom. And why? Why had her mother been slaughtered and her life so rudely interrupted? Because of her stupid ass father and his close mindedness. Who the hell gave up their own wife and child to sadistic bastards like these so called 'scientists' anyway? Had he really hated them that much.
Muscles rippled beneath white fur as she almost ran down the cliffs, back towards where it was 'safer'. What a load of crock. Nothing in this place was safe. Nothing. Either way, she had enough of running for one day. Her work out was over with. She had to make sure that her muscles didn't get weak on her... Never knew when you would have to use them, especially with being a Hunter for the CarnaRing.
She got down to damn near the very bottom of the cliffs, where she had left her clothes laying under some rocks so that the strong winds wouldn't blow her clothes all over the place and she would have to go hunting them... She had made that mistake once already. She usually preferred to be in a snow leopard form, but she had come to find that it was much easier to always anticipate someone else coming along. So, she shifted back into her human form and quickly changed clothes. She laid out on the rock and allowed the sun to beat down on her skin.
It was hot as hell, but she was used to it. Living in these conditions all the time made a girl be able to withstand the constant heat. That was why she loved the cliffs so much. It provided her with a breeze, if nothing else. She ran her fingers through her thick blond hair and laid back, closing her eyes and began bathing in the sun. Though she looked perfectly relaxed, she still remained on full alert for someone to come heading her way. She never let her guard down. She had made that mistake one time and it had landed her here... She would not make it again and lose her life over that stupid mistake.

SEV walked a little out of body like; his eyes were open, but there seemed to be a distant look to them. They were fixed in the front of him ,but he was making silly mistakes and faltering occasionally on the rocks. Although distant that smug smirk stayed plastered to his face; reaching from ear to ear and drawing a sadistic light to his face. There was nothing clear about Sevastian Knox; or King as he was sometimes called. It was whatever you called him first, but he did not make it a habit to let others know his full name. Just the nicknames he was called and nothing more. He did often grow tired and angered when others, especially woman tried to push for more about him and his past. Silly questions like 'where you from or 'how'd you get here. He usual answered with on of two answerers; none of your concern or same as you. He hated peopled who pryed, didn't they have enough problems. What on earth persuaded them to try learn his, but in all honesty he didn't have many problems. He accepted being here, surviving and killing. He was out to make a name for himself yes, but this really wasn't a problem. More like a game or challenge, which he enjoyed so much. He didn't walk around angry and cursing the world, although he did try to persuade others anger to kill him. No, he isn't suicidal. Sure death is peaceful and something he wants, but not so badly to do himself in. He wasn't that stupid, unlike the others around him who couldn't kill someone who wanted to die.
He finally broke the silence with a low chuckle and shook his head. "Bunch of retards." Howard could it be? Honestly, he thought that this place had killed brain cells in some people. They focused on their strength in body and not in mind. Well, we see how well that worked out. SEV was still alive and kicking and they were being pecked apart by vultures. He grinned at this. Now most would not find this a funny thought; others being killed and eaten ,but it was too him. Hands were placed in the pockets of his jeans and his eyes were locked on the ground, smiling. "Hope their enjoying the show." Of course by this he meant the keepers; oh what fun they were. He had often wondered if they would know anything about killing him, but he wasn't that low. But if the chance to ever play mind games with them came up ,you better believe he would jump on it so fast. Revenge was such a sweet taste to him. He loved it, there was no bitter taste for him when it came to revenge, only happiness.
He sighed and flung his head back and moaned in frustration. There was absolutely nothing to do. He had been trying to will away the boredom; which some couldn't understand why he had it. 'How could you be bored? You could die any minute! Exactly ,but since he never did he was bored of the same old routine of walking, searching. He missed the fighting and anything fun like that. Oh yes; SEV needed to get into trouble badly. Call it his feline nature to want to toy with others, or just the craziness of his mind. Whatever you called it he embraced it. There was nothing more dangerous than an extremely intelligent, manipulative, and sarcastic Carna. Such a dangerous combination. But here he was with nothing to do, you would think living here would hold more excitement. With that thought buzzing in his head he heard some shuffling and then the shallow and steadying breathing. Someone was relaxing, but he could detect the catches in her breathe;keeping her guard up. Smart. Well, perhaps the day wasn't a complete loss, might as well try to have some today. He rounded the corner, his smile growing bigger as he observed. He tilted his head to the side. "Soaking up the sun are we,girlie." His voice was playful, but also laced with venom; just another trait to love about him.

As she laid there, her mind began to wander ever so slightly. Unlike most people who could only think about one or two things at a time and still pay attention to what was going on around them, she had the very handy ability to think about a multitude of things while still remaining perfectly alert to all things around her. She just wished that she knew where all the cameras were that the Keepers watched them from. She had a idea where some of them were, simply because it would just make logical sense, but she wondered just how many cameras they had set up here in total.
She arched her back, her hands going over her head as her back and elbows poped in unison, a sigh of contentment escaping pale pink lips. She rarely allowed herself to relax... Then again, living in these conditions, it could cost someone their life to be too lenient. But, dammit, she was tired of all the bull, and just wanted a little bit of time to just chill. Hell, the stress would be the thing to kill most of these saps trapped in here anyway. Stress and worry. That was their problems. If any of them ever made it out of here alive, they would be total nut jobs.
She had accpeted that she had been put here, just as she had accepted the fact that her mother had been killed by those loyal to the Keepers... She had even managed to accept the fact that it had been her own biological father who had turned them both in. But that didn't mean that she had to like it. And it didn't mean that she couldn't plot out her revenge. One way or another, she would get into one of the labs... If only to kill one of the Keepers who tried to experiment on her. For now, she would endure. Just like she always had. She was patient, and she would bide her time, wait for the perfect opportunity, and then make her move. While laying there on the edge of the cliffs, seemingly relaxed, she was plotting strategies, throwing in multiple situations that could possibly arise as road blocks. She didn't like to be without a plan.
The sound of a pebble shifting under foot caught her attention, though she continued to hold her body perfectly still, waiting for whoever was approaching her to come closer. Be them friend or foe, she wasn't quite sure yet. She wasn't even sure that she could consider the members of the Carna her allies. None the less the rest of them. Soaking up the sun are we,girlie.
Only then did she open her icy blue eyes, turning her head to look at the dark haired male standing just a few feet away from her. Palms pressed against the rock, she pushed herself up into a sitting position, deceptively at ease. She saw his smile and answered with one of her own, white teeth flashing bright. She recognized him as one of the members of the Carna, but even with that assessment, her guard didn't falter in the least. There was nothing to say that a fellow packmate wouldn't turn on her.
She shrugged, a casual rise and fall of her slender, delicate looking shoulders. She didn't appear to be much, not at first. But there was steal running through her body, and she had trained herself to use her smaller size as a advantage. Standing at only 5'5, she was hardly intimidating. "We cats do enjoy the sun." She ran her slender fingers through her thick blond hair, lifting it first off her neck, allowing the wind to blow against her skin, cooling her off a bit, before letting it go, the blond strands falling down to the center of her back. "Not like there's anything else to do, anyway. It's too calm. There's no excitement. So, I came up here to have some fun on the cliffs." She tilted her head slightly, blond hair falling across her shoulder, framing her face in a golden halo. "I didn't think tigers were into climbing." She said, giving him the option to tell her what had brought him up here, or letting him simply act as if he hadn't recognized the hidden question, and simply agree or disagree with her.

He crocked an eyebrow at the girl. She was tense still he knew, but she was good at hiding it. He had to give her credit for that. Sevastian was use to woman like his sister;naive and stupid. She was too trusting and thought everyone was good. A trait Sevastian couldn't stand. He sometimes couldn't believe they were related;they were polar opposites, but she was his twin sister and as much as he wanted and did deny it he loved her and wanted nothing to happen to her. He would tear anyone to shreds of they touched her. He took in a deep breathe, just thinking of her tired him. He hadn't seen her in years, but he still had a protectiveness over her. He turned his head to the girl in front of him. There was no way she reminded him of Misery. They were different. He mentally kicked at himself. He honestly thought she worthless and was glad to be away from her.
Sevastian was lost in his internal battle, when he noticed she was talking again. His head slowly turned to look at her. He took in her appearance, not much paying any attention to her words. He caught the gist of it. She was bored and that's all he needed. Not some extensive rant or story. He sighed and propped himself up on the rocks,he had thought maybe something more interesting, but beggars can't be choosers,or can they? He smirked at the thought. He wasn't begging,he would never beg ,so he could be a chooser. He could this little word exchange anyway he wanted. A fight, anything. His mind was turning;the little monster inside of him yearning to come out. He had trapped it down not to long after being thrown in here, but everyday it grew along with the hunger.
He pushed off the rock quickly and was now crouching in front of her. His illumed hazel eyes locked on hers. His position was his body resting on one knee and the other propped up and hugging to his body. He was in her personnel space by now, face a bit too close for comfort. Sevastian never much payed any attention to boundaries of others. His head was titled and he ignored her statement about tigers and climbing. He did mentally roll his eyes, and smirked. "You know you look exactly like this girl I killed." His body leaned forward a bit and his smirk grew as he thought of that night when he killed her. He had followed her home from some bar. She was drunk and it was too perfect. He was silently laughing as she dropped her keys. She was setting it all up for him. He played the concerned neighbor and helped her. Got invited in and he locked the door. Sevastian works fast and before she turned around he had hold of her hair and was banging her head into the counter. The night was slow and her screams were muffled by his hand. She bit him and his blood mingled with hers. Then he left a kiss and left. This girl in front of him looked just like her.
He smiled wide and jumped to his feet to walk around her. Hands were still in pockets, but his walk now held that dark murderous swagger. He was walking around her, like someone stalking it's prey. His lips twitched at the corners as he recalled her tiger comment. Rolling his head to look at her,he laughed darkly. "Oh,You have no idea what tigers like to do." As he locked eyes with her,his eyes were darker than before. He was loosing control; The monster was out.
