Adolf skipped along at a jaunty trot, casting his eyes behind him every now and then to check up on the teen who followed him. "Brother, come onnnn!" He whined, his soft voice taking on a childish air that always tended to pop up. He was immature in a sense that he'd grown up sheltered and innocent under the eye, basically, of his older cousin (who, ironically, he was now taller than). "Hurry up, slowpoke. It'll be fun, I promise!" He dashed back to Adi and pushed him from behind, trying to push up the mopey boy's pace. Adi got like this once in a while, and Adolf didn't really mind it - but he felt the need to try and cheer his cousin up regardless of what might happen.
The clothes less teen dashed around front, shifting into the small golden border collie in attempts to get Adi to play around - Adi always loved to play! And anything that Adi loved, Adolf loved. He'd been gifted, really, with the ability to shift into a form of whatever shift animal he came in contact with, along with his original form - the gnu. He yipped happily and ran circles around his cousin, body wiggling as his tail swished madly from side to side in excitement. "Lets go! Adventure!"

Adison ::

“I’m coming, I’m coming…” he mumbled, trailing behind Adolf as they made their way through the mall. Adison groaned at Adolf’s incessant happiness. It sometimes looked as if it got on his nerves, but really Adison was a bit jealous. Why couldn’t he just brush things off like Adolf did? He’d be a lot happier if he only could. But he couldn’t and he already carried far more burdens than most of the other CarnaRing members did. Adison felt the sadness for the loss of his Father creeping up on him again, and his eyes burned as he held back tears once more.
No, he was supposed he having fun now! They were going to go raid those darned Fulsis! They just had to find the supplies first...they had to be somewhere in the Mana Springs mall! Adison felt the beginnings of tears melt away, and a mischievous smile creep onto his lips. Yeah, this was gonna be the greatest! His face lit up as his cousin shifted into his blonde border collie form, and Adison immediately shifted into his as well. His coat was a shimmering chocolate brown instead though, as their collie markings both matched their hair colors.
Adison pranced around with his cousin, his agility allowing him to outspeed the other dog. He let out a little play growl and dropped his chest to the floor, hindquarters still swishing in the air. “Brother, come onn!” he mocked, leaping forward and nipping at Adolf’s floppy collie ears. ”Let’s go! Adventure!” Adison imitated, actually sounding a lot like the other boy. He’d gotten the childish tone down, but of course, Adolf had a slightly deeper voice than he did.
Now Adison was really having fun. It was a normal thing for Adison in which his happiest times often were at the expense of his cousin. He wasn’t completely cruel of course, and always tried to make sure Adolf had fun in the end as well, even after the most horrible of pranks. No matter what, he’d never want to lose his best friend.
The lithe little border collie bounced playfully after the other, barely able to keep up with each agile movement as the brown-splashed dog bounded around him. Adolf yipped happily and tried to tackle Adi but he twisted out of the way just in time, and he ended up face down on the tile floor, his rump sticking up in the air - he almost seemed to mirror Adison's playful stance except that his snout was pressed sideways and he was mumbling something that was muffled by the floor. He flopped on his side and marveled at Adi's speed, his sides heaving as he flipped to his paws and dashed forward.
He pulled up short and cocked his head to the side, ears perked up curiously. "What?" He asked, his brows furrowing slightly in confusion. "That's what I said, silly!" He barked, an a strangled laugh-snarl escaped. As close as you could get to a laugh when you were a dog!

"What?" Adison grinned, his mouth hanging open, the sides pulled up into a smile. Just as it was hard to laugh as a dog, it was just as hard to smile. He flicked his tail playfully, and then suddenly flopped onto his face, imitating the pathetic pose in which Adolf had landed almost exactly. He held in a snicker, knowing just how silly it looked.
“That’s what I said, silly!” He mocked again, having too much fun with it. It was childish to be playing such nonsensical games, but Adi and Adolf hadn’t exactly grown up very normal. At times, Adison could seem like he carried the weight of the world on his shoulders, and then the next he could be tossing it aside and running around like a five-year-old again. So was the strange life of the children raised in The Menagerie.
Adison got up again from the uncomfortable pose, but mimicked Adolf’s body language again, tilting his head to the side and raising up his ears. Oh boy, this was great.
Adolf charged Adi and knocked him over playfully, pinning his cousin to the ground and nipping at his paws, yipping happily. It didn't even cross his mind at the moment that they were in dangerous territory - the Carna's number one enemy and the most dangerous ring besides the Carna themselves - and tumbled and rolled with his cousin. He got flipped off and rolled away, crouching again in a mock-hunt position, his eyes locked straight ahead when Adi started to mimic him again. He mimed his exact movements and, this time, Adolf got what he was doing. At least...at least a little.
"Stooooop it!" He barked, though his voice was still happy, it had lost some of it's excitement. His brows were furrowed over the clear blue eyes, confused beyond belief. When Adi copied him again, he pouted, turning his back on his cousin. "Why you keep copying me?" He called, looking over his shoulder, darling little eyes innocent and round as he looked at his mischievous companion, nose twitching as he thought about it. "I said stop!" He added with a tiny little frown.
Cordelia lay crouched on an abandoned, broken table, cast in shadow by the platform of the upper floor. Her legs were pulled in tight next to her body, all her muscles tensed as if to spring. Her snow leopard eyes were alight with the prospect of some change from her everyday wanderings, and her tail swished in the air behind her. There were 2 Carnas in Fulsi territory. She had been watching them for a few minutes. They were having a little fun with each other, now both in dog form. Not the smartest move when in the lands of an enemy.
The table was a few meters away from the spot of their little games, that distance could be easily crossed by a leap with the powerful legs of a snow leopard. Cordelia felt that she had let them go long enough. Now is the time for action. But which one should she go at first? The one who demonstrated the most energy? Or at least the one who showed energy first. Did it really matter at this point? They were not in their own territory. They would both pay for their foolish actions soon enough. Now how to do it? She did not feel like just killing one of them right off. They would get the chance to flee, even if she doubted they would. Her muscles still very tensed, she pushed off the table, hurtling towards the two small canines. Her mouth was drawn into a snarl, which came out loudly through her bared teeth.
Stretched out to her full length, she closed the distance in a short second, and landed hard on top of the brown one. Her large paws were pressed into the small animals stomach, her head turned to the side and bit down hard whichever leg it was. It broke the skin, which satisfied her enough. Her tactical mind told her that it might be a good idea to get out of the middle, so the other one couldnt sneak up on her. She let out another short snarl, then leaped a few feet away. Cordelia turned back to them, her shoulders hunched, and every muscle in her body tensed for a fight. Oh what fun. Her head was lowered and her mouth was still in the ever-present silent snarl. She saw that the leg she had attacked was the back left, and it looked to be a pretty bad wound at that. Maybe it would take him out of the fight.
"If you are going to come into someone elses territory, next time you might want to be a little more stealthy. Before I dispose of you, what are you doing here?" Her voice was laced with venom, it was quite clear that she did not intend to let them get away, by any means. The thought suddenly occured to her though that she was alone. And while she could handle the two small ones while they were all animals, they could shift as well. And she was one of the youngest people here, she would probably not fare so well in that situation. She prayed to some higher power that another fulsi, hopefully a good fighter, might by some luck stumble upon the little confrontation.

I've got this energy beneath my feet
The little, whitish barn owl flew high in the blue sky with his head down, as to not look at the sun above him. It was the middle of the day, and Royce really didn't know why he was here. Hours of mindless flying had led him here, sparked from incurable restlessness. He hadn't seen another person in several days, the last one being his unofficial "friend," whom he had met in the church. In the church, Royce had spent these few days, sitting and thinking. But today, finally today, he had gotten restless enough to actually come out. But he liked it in there. Maybe that's why they called barn owls, "church owls." He flew over his Ring's territory, hoping to see someone that he could watch. Then, he spotted the mall that he had once met someone at. Maybe there would be someone there. He swiftly flew through the ajar door in the front, still searching. But to his surprise, he saw not a person, but an animal. A cat.
Royce looked down to see a white and spotted snow leopard, its long tail swooshing through the air, as it looked ready to leap. What a typical cat. It crouched on a table. A very, oh so convenient table. The little barn owl toward the ceiling descended silently down to the floor behind the table, and as he did so, the leopard leaped and ran somewhere that Royce did not bother to look at. He alighted quietly on the tiled floor of the wide hallway, and turned to look through the legs of the table in the direction which his new kitty pet had gone. But what he saw was not what he had expected. Two dogs the cat had approached, and the cat did not look very happy with them. Was this going to be a cat vs. dog fight?
Royce shifted his weight a couple times in anticipation as he watched closely, wincing at the snarl the cat's face was drawn up into. Then, the leopard spoke. Hello. Might I ask what you are doing here? Well she didn't sound very nice. But then, Royce came to the sick realization of horror that he knew this voice. Oh, no. He knew this voice. This voice belonged to none other than the Fulsi girl, Cordelia herself. The one Royce had almost made friends with in the church. And it looked like she was challenging two shifters at once. Royce roused his feathers and then shook them out again because he was so scared of what might happen. He didn't know what was going on, but if she was picking a fight, he was going to have to help her. But his fears were more on how she would react to seeing him again.
Like something underground's gonna come up and carry me.

Adison jumped backwards as the snow leopard leapt down from the second floor of the mall. He was both shocked and embarrassed, knowing that he should have sensed her coming. He was the Carna Head of Border Patrol, for heaven’s sake! He had enhanced senses and still this Fulsi girl had caught him by surprise. Adison shifted back into his human form and stood up, letting out a small growl. His injured pride was only egging him on.
He knew he shouldn’t have been fooling around with Adolf! This sort of stuff always seemed to happen…Then again, a raid really wasn’t the time and place to be playing. His anger ran away with him then, and he spat at the Snow Leopard. “Like I’d tell you why we’re here!” He snarled, fists clenched. Adison knew that he and Adolf could take on this Fulsi. They both had multiple, powerful shifting forms… Adison was a tiger twice the size of the kitten in front of him!
Confidence now taking over, Adison didn’t feel the need to shift just yet. He’d grown up thinking that the Fulsi were useless cowards, and from that he figured there was no way she’d just jump and attack him. “You have no idea who you’re dealing with,” Adison smirked at the big cat in front of him, crossing his arms indignantly. “It’d probably be best if you turned tail and ran, y’know, before you get hurt.”
