Oppression took its toll, on the Carna boy.
Lyric felt as if something heavy had been placed upon him, and not it weighed him down. It took his breath away and left him gasping for air. It left him bleeding and dying without any wounds. He stared out across a desolate sea, flat as a surface of sparkling blue glass. Beneath the set of a shadowed night, the moon rose above and gave an eerie sparkle to the shattered show of waves. The reflection of the silvery orb was cast to the water, ripples sent straight through it. The moon’s reflection wavered, like the half-opened eye of some crying god, the single optic filled with crystalline tears. He scowled at it, scowled long and hard from his perch on the shore. As a morosely arisen shadow in the distance, he could catch a glimpse of the SS-Anzio. It looked like some demon, towering outwards from the oceanic waters and towards the land. Lyric, in his morbid mood, almost saw it as a skeleton. How utterly... mournful... His glare wavered not, due to the fact he was angry. And it wasn’t even angry at any one thing, really. He was just mad, as he so often was. Mad without cause or any sort of reason behind it. He felt eternally as if he were lacking happiness and joy, and in its place there was only emptiness and undirected rage. He oftentimes didn't even know where it came from, or why. Lyric never had any answers for it, but always that rage left him feeling... desolate. Hollowed out like an eerie jack-O'-lantern; constantly grinning on the outside, with a candle stick burning within. But that made no difference, for still within there was nothing but emptiness. A sense of something lost, though it had never truly been there, had it? Wind gave a gentle murmur through the area, and it mused his blond locks but briefly. Dark amber eyes narrowed dangerously. What the hell was he doing? Wallowing in self-pity? "Damn you..." Lyric said to himself, furious. But did that ferocity even show in his voice? No. The only emotion withheld in the tone of his voice was a soft whisper, one that was completely monotone.
Lyric was sitting cross-legged on the ground, as close to the waters as he could possibly be without getting wet. His elbows where propped upon his knees, hair falling about his face in a mess of blond locks. He quite frankly looked like he'd pulled himself out of bed to come out to the forlorn shore. An, truth be told Lyric had done just that. Having been awoken from a senseless dream, and unable to fall back asleep, the boy had gotten out of bed and wandered. With the disappearance and forgotten reminisces of that nightmarish dream, something had replaced it. Exasperation... indecision... hatred... rage... And he had nothing to direct these emotions too. They left him without any way to free himself of the idiotic feelings, left him feeling something churning within his stomach similar to vertigo. But there was also a turning of clockwork within his mind. He swallowed, disgusted with himself, and stood suddenly. Lyric hovered there, at the edge of the beach, attempting to decide where to go. His gaze befell the half-sunken ship, as a streaking shadow against the sky. He took it in for a long instant, and stayed standing exactly where he was. You're sinking too quickly, now Lyric. You're losing it. A grim smile quirked his lips, and for an instant there was no feeling. No emotion. Not rage nor despair nor indecision. For an instant there was simply nothing, and the saddest thing about that was the fact Lyric welcomed the sudden lack of feeling and the sudden, complete numbness to the world.
OCC: Yeah… sooo… Lyric came across as a little depressed in that post xD Sorry for the rambling.

She wandered about, to means to where she was going or how quickly she was to get there, though the visions of the soft earth and the waves were interesting to her. No definite shape in the eye of her mind, the feel of Touch having been so definite now it through her off to have these odd sensations of nothing and yet something around her. She heard the gentle lapping and felt the liquid come around her ankles as it came to shore, but the vision was lost at the waters edge somehow, though she could faintly make out the wispy lines of the water as well as the slightly more defined floor of the lake ... ocean? It disappeared completely after about 15 yards or so.
She paused then, almost not seeing the other that sat in the sand as she stopped, her hair blowing off her shoulders as the moon illuminated her skin and making it glow in the night. She sucked in air, wondering for a moment about the other, the salt water filling her nose before she barely caught his scent, Carna.
"Damn you..."
She cocked her head to the side, in a manner that one would see on a curious child, or maybe even an animal of some sort. She giggled inwardly, they were all animals, ne? She shook her head, her thoughts straying too much as of late before she stood silent, waiting for the others acknowledgment and reaching out her touch to find him looking off into the distance.
She cleared her throat then, her stance changing from open to closed off, her hand covering her mouth as she turned her head towards the water in attempts to find what he was looking for. Her cheekbones defined in the low light of the night, "penny for your thoughts?" she asked as she looked back to him, face always shadowed though her lips were slightly curved in an attempted smile.
