Charlotte::
"Ridiculous," She spat, as she meandered down the dock, shoulder-length medium-brown hair blowing slightly in the breeze the keepers had been kind enough to grant them this one particularly horrible day. "They blatantly ignored my research!" She hissed at herself. Dr. Charlotte Greyson had spent almost a year, researching her condition-- The condition of everyone here in the menagerie. They were no less people than anyone else, and now she had proven it. Where had her road of good intentions landed her? In this foul, glass enclosure.
Had it been worth it? Perhaps. It was a great weight lifted to know that she, herself, wasn't some sort of rabid beast. Then again, now she was here, never again to research the problems of the world, or use her quite intelligent mind for anything but her own survival. The only thing that made that depressing thought a bit easier was her new outlook on life : No good deed goes unpunished.
She had witnessed it herself, after all. Charlotte had sacrificed a whole year of her life to set free the people trapped in The Menagerie, only to become part of the exhibit her self. "It's not worth the trouble," She sighed to herself, light blue-green eyes simply looking out over the waterfront. What would she do now? She had no friends, family...Even if she had, there would be no one to try and get her out of this place. They couldn't, not even if they tried with all of their might. No, this was her fate now. She scorned at it, huffing under her breath.
Her new life had brought her here, to the Carna, where she now held the rank of Omega. Sure, it was lowly, but she wasn't much looking for a promotion. The ring life fascinated her, and she simply enjoyed watching the members go about their day. Having trained a bit in psychology, she was certain some of them needed serious mental help, but Charlotte wouldn't be the one to help them. Nope, no more going out of her way for other people. She would just deal with them, keeping out of their way in case they decided to go on some crazed rampage.
