The bruises on her neck had long since faded and the burns on her arms hadn't even left scars. Sitting quietly on the small heap of garabage, she listened to the sounds of the abandoned Bestian land, waiting it seemed for the voice of their former leader. She never truly found the rings significant until she found herself one of them. It was best for her to stay here... They knew who she was - what she had been. Sniffing once, she tore the jacket from her body, upset enough to glare for moments until the cold got to her and she slipped the jacket back on in defeat. She sat back down and placed her chin on her knees, staring lifelessly as she always did. The poor thing really didn't do much. Nothing here inspired here...nothing here was for her. And of course she could not help but think of her last visit with Seraphim. He'd ripped the papers. He didn't make her sign them. She'd never seen...or rather heard him so conflicted and torn. Although he'd ripped the life out of her before, he was the only one who could spark it up again - every touch and every sound of his voice. She shuddered, but this time it was not from the cold.
Meanwhile, Daedalus crouched in another heap of garabage, studying this odd specimen. What on earth could cause the Head Keeper to have such an expression? Surely she was significant, although he hadn't a clue why. Her freakish appearance was almost as disturbing as his own - his body tattooed grotesquely on every inch. Bright, emerald eyes glowed strangely as he tilted his head. He'd been waiting for an entire hour now and she hadn't moved an inch. It drove him crazy to the point that when he saw her temper tantrum, he lurched forward impatiently before catching himself and waited. Longer she sat still and his thirst for the hunt grew. When she shuddered, although subtly, he launched forward. He jumped in the air as a human an landed as a Doberman pinchser, fangs gripping her waist and tossing her off the heap and to the ground where she had little time before he was on her again, ripping and tearing at the jacket and flesh. Blindly horrified, she screamed and kicked at him in the way a human girl would, though her genetics made her even more fragile than the average human. "Stop, please! Stop!" Her high-pitched voice startled him for a second and she jumped to her feet, gladly able to run faster than usual. "What does he see in you, woman?" He snarled, morphing back into human and laughing when she tripped over an old oil can. He stalked forward slowly, as though he had no need to hurry. "You're not strong. You're not fast. You couldn't hope to be pretty with those devilish, red eyes. Ah, it must be the personality. Am I right?" He stepped over her and cupped the side of her face with his hand, only to be met by her bite. He snarled and pulled back, coming forward again to smack her face to the side. "Apparently I'm wrong. You truly are worthless."
"Go away!" She growled as threateningly as she could before kicking up a heel to his all-too-sensitive spot and sending him to his knees screaming. "You bitch!" He snarled as she leapt to her feet and bounded away, trying to remember where each and every pile of garabage was in this place. Thinking well under pressure, it wasn't hard for her to maneuver around. She didn't expect him to run ahead of her, stealthily working around the piles and jumping at her from the front. She could not have predicted any of that as he tripped her to the ground and kicked her maliciously. "Kicking isn't nice, dear. You see that now? How does it feel?" She growled back - again sounding like an angry child rather than some great beast. Despite this, she caught his kicking foot in her hands and pulled him to the ground before jumping on him, small fist colliding with his face, but he expected the fight back. He'd pulled out a dagger and jammed it deep in her waist, causing her to stop immediately, eyes bewildered until she fell limp. Chuckling, he tossed her under him, turning the tables and watching the bright crimson contrast with her white attire. "S-Seraphim." He promised. "Oh, yes. It would be a joy if he were here; I hope he's watching." Perhaps he was right. She couldn't get through this waiting for promises to be broken. She struggled a little more, trying to pull energy together into her movements. "Squirming won't help your cause." He lifted a brow and smirked as though he were enjoying it. "You're sick!" She spit at his face and he growled once, slapping her face roughly again before kissing her roughly, though she shook her head to get away. "Ah, c'mon. You're still being difficult?" He jumped off of her, rummaging through the garabage piles for something more fun to work with...like a piece of chair for instance.
Breathing faltering, she grabbed her waist and lurched to her feet. He smiled after her, guessing how far she'd get and like he assumed, she fell in time for him to pounce over her again. "I'll give you credit. You have more fight in you than most of the shifters here."
