Kitty was tearing across the ground, heart pounding, blood rushing. The Keepers had given her... something, she wasn't sure what, but it made her feel powerful. It made her feel strong. Maybe that's what it was; they had increased her strength. It made enough sense, they were always testing some sort of messed up concoction on their captive lab rats. That's truly all they were, the residents of the dome. Lab rats. Not that she minded much... not when they were giving her this kind of stuff, the stuff that made her unstoppable. She abruptly skidded to a stop, looking around. She didn't know where she was exactly- but she was somewhere in retro territory. She crouched, noticing a large paw print on the ground. Large. Feline. She would know, after all. She was in Analoya territory.
And that suited her just fine.
She rotated her head on her shoulders, trying to release some of the built up tension that she supposed was a side effect of the drug. It made her explosive. She liked it. She took off again, scoring her fingernails in the dirt as she went. What made the Analoya so great? Nothing. So why did they get all this great hunting area when her own ring was just about starving? The only reason, as far as she could tell, that they'd been fed for this long is because they were in a treaty with Fallen, one where, in exchange for food, the Carna protected them. Which didn't make sense. So what made these big cats so different? Why couldn't they just join a ring like everyone else? Stopping again, she looked around once more, feeling the anger bubble up. She hadn't been this angry in a long, long time. She liked being angry, actually. It made her a better fighter.
And she was about ready to knock some Analoya heads together. She'd show them that they weren't so fantastic, that there was nothing special about them. She would kill if she had to. But Kitty was going to make them pay for making her Ring suffer. With a roar and a stretch, she had shifted, and was now a black panther, ready to fight anyone and anything that came her way. She didn't know anything about these Analoya; she didn't know their numbers or their capabilites, but it didn't matter- she could take them. She could take all of them, at once. She was unstoppable, nothing could get in her way. And thanks to the drug the Keepers had given her, nothing would.
She ran around frantically, trying to find the Analoya. It was a difficult task, trying to find a group of big cats in the middle of all this forestry and vegetation. And, as if that weren't enough, Kitty was a fighter, not a tracker. It wasn't like she was famously known for orienteering or anything. The best she could do was hunt, but that involved her actually laying eyes on her prey. And she hadn't seen a single big cat yet. Then, she caught wind of something. It smelled sort of like food, but... what was it? Food? She tried to follow the scent, but, frustratingly enough, failed. She let out an angry roar. Why were her skills, all of a sudden, failing her? Shouldn't she be all-mighty right about now? The anger grew, as a result of her unsuccessfulness. She stalked back and forth around the immediate area, trying to find the scent once more. It took a long time, but she finally found the camp. Her heart rate shot up with adrenalin and anticipation.
Leaning back onto her rear legs, her muscles bunched and then she launched herself into the camp, all ablaze with anger and loud noises and claws. She slashed everything in her path, being generally destructive. This was fun. And the best part? Thanks to the Keepers, she wouldn't even get hurt. After she finished making a general mess of everything that was between her and a clearing, she stopped and raised her panther head. The melanistic leopard took a defensive stance, and then let out a great roar. "ANALOYA!" she bellowed, making it so that everyone within half a mile could hear her. "COME AND FIGHT!"
