Today is all we've got, The moment’s here then not... Stupid doorknob! Casey fumbled sleepily with the thing, too tired from the long day’s work to keep his eyes open. The sun had set hours ago, and after being on patrol and jail duty since dawn, Casey was exhausted. When he finally got the door open, the scout made a bee-line straight for his heavenly mattress— that thing was just magical, and probably Casey’s most prized possession (being that it was the only thing he owned, other than his clothes.)
Finally, he flopped down onto the mattress and buried himself in his blanket, which still smelled a bit like the jail, much to Casey’s dismay. Oh, Jonny. He let out a sigh and pulled the blanket over his head, not wanting to think about his roommate and tenderfoot apprentice. That man just had a way of getting under his skin that Casey couldn’t stand sometimes. For instance, how just the other day he’d caught him sleeping on the job when he was supposed to be guarding the jail, and with Casey’s blanket, to boot. The rest of the week hadn’t gone much better; Casey had taken Jonny out for some hunting training just a day ago. …Bad idea. It had been an even worse idea to bring a bow and some arrows along.
Casey grimaced as he recalled it so vividly; he was crouched low and closing in on the deer, his paws treading silently on the grass, jaws dripping with anticipation. If they got that deer, plenty of Fulsi would be eating well for a day at least! Jonny was behind him, taking aim at the poor creature with the bow. He heard him pull back on the string, and the whiz of the arrow as it flew through the air… And then suddenly he found himself on the ground and literally howling in pain, until he shifted back and his howls turned to enraged screams. “You idiot!” Casey had roared, glancing back to find the arrow lodged in the flesh of his… well, thigh, sort of in the rear. He supposed it was more like.. “You shot me in the ASS!”
Yeah, it hadn’t been the greatest day on record. After getting back from the doomed hunting trip, getting the arrow yanked out of his butt-cheek by some medics, and healing himself back up, Casey had tried to get some sleep before Jonny could try to start his little antics of trying to worm his way onto Casey’s comfortable mattress. Well, that certainly wouldn’t be happening tonight! The scout let out a sigh of relief and snuggled into his pillow, glad that it looked like Jonny had found someone else to pester for a night.
“Finally, some peace and quiet.”
...And if tomorrow never comes, I'll be standing with the one I love.
Well, he supposed things were going alright. It seemed that he'd gotten himself in with a good connection. Turned out to be that Casey DeLaney, the wee bit of an Irishman that he was, had the goods so to speak. He was apparent best friends with the Alpha - the two were so buddy-buddy, it almost made him sick; Jonny had seen Adam around a few times and even give him a bit of lip back in the jail there. That had turned out unexpectedly well, Jonny thought with a vivacious grin. It never failed, how far his looks got him. They got him through just about anything; even paranoid and overly strict Alpha's.
It had been another long day of worming his way out of his Tenderfoot duties, and he'd taken himself on an extended hunting excursion and made a report back to the Carna. He met with a scouting party on the border and relayed them a message - he'd successfully gotten into the Fulsi, explaining his position as Tenderfoot but the promising friendship he was making with the Alpha's best friend. Things were looking up, yes. On his way back he'd made sure to catch something - it took up a considerable chunk of his day, but he came back with two scrawny hares dangling from his jaws; it felt good to be using his shift form again. It always felt so freeing, almost as if he should've been born a dog instead of a human.
With a grimace, Jonny thought of Casey's angry words the past couple of days. True, Jonny took much pleasure out of annoying the twerp, but he did feel kinda bad about shooting him in the ass. With an arrow. Now that had been an accident, an unfortunate one that had taken Casey's minor frustrations and likely amplified them. Not good for laying the foundations of a trusting friendship, hm? Still, thinking on it brought a grin to his face - he'd been drawing back the arrow, watching Casey's lithe red body creep through the slight brush poking through the cracks in the cement. They had been lucky enough to scent a deer - rare in the Carna, and even rarer in the Fulsi! Drawing his bow back, Jonny had looked over to egg on their pal Jay - a tall fellow with a high pitched keening voice and a tendency to grate the nerves, possibly the definition of a Fulsiboy incarnate.
What happened next was quite as you would expect it - Jay, the big goof that he was, tripped on something and went flying to the ground with a girlish squeal, which sent the deer flying. Jonny yelped something and tried to track the deer but he let his arrow loose too soon and as he watched it arc into the air and fall, his hand slowly went to cover his mouth as he followed the arrow through the air and straight into Casey's rump.
Needless to say he'd gotten a mouthful of roars and snarls and badtalk about it, and now it seemed a bit of the Cold Shoulder. Sighing, Jonny thought he'd better make it up to his little friend before he dove off the deep end. He snuck into one of the store rooms and with a sweet smile and a quick kiss to some girl named Jacklyn, Jonny was on his way with a brand new blanket. A snazzy one, too; it was a very soft fabric with a fancy floral scroll on the edges, and a turquoise blue color. Pretty nice blanket, if you asked him. So Jonny set his way towards their room, keeping the blanket pressed close to him, careful not to let any dirt or grime get on it. He wanted to be sure Casey would see he'd put thought into it - even if it had been mostly an afterthought. Still! Better than shooting him in the ass and doing nothing, eh?
Sashaying into the room they shared, Jonny grabbed both ends of the blanket he let it fall all the way open as he approached Casey's miraculously comfortable mattress and stood at the edge. "I want me some Caseydillas!" he quipped, waiting for Casey to open his eyes. As soon as he opened them, Jonny let out a triumphant laugh and pounced, pinning Casey to the mattress. "I didnae know Irishmen could be so spicy."
Casey was nearly asleep when the creaking of the door jolted him awake again. No, no, ohgod, no..., Casey begged silently to himself, keeping his eyes closed tight. He refused to open them and accept the truth that… Jonny was back. And if Jonny was back, that meant that he wasn’t going to be sleeping peacefully any time soon. Casey kept his eyes shut, hoping that the Tenderfoot would just decide to go to sleep in his own bed, but his footsteps came closer until Casey could feel Jonny standing over him at the edge of the bed. It was going to be a long night.
”I want me some Caseydillas!” Casey’s eyes snapped open and he looked up to see Jonny holding… A new blanket? Well, this was unexpected! It seemed like Jonny was doing something nice for him for a change! Casey smiled and tossed off his old blanket, ready to forgive him for completely ruining it, until he saw the mischievous glint in Jonny’s eyes. “N-no, NO JONNY!” Casey gasped, as the blond Tenderfoot pounced him, his body crashing down onto Casey’s with a loud thud, knocking the air out of Casey’s lungs. “Goddammit, Jonny!” Casey wheezed, trying to push Jonny’s stupid grinning face away from him. “Get offa me!” He was most definitely not in the mood for this; Why couldn’t Jonny just do something nice and not ruin it afterwards?
“I’m warning you,” Casey hissed, every ounce of patience sapped away from him by this point of the week. He’d just had enough! If Jonny wasn’t slacking off and flirting with everything that moved, he was ruining something of Casey’s, or being an idiot and getting Casey shot in the ass! And now he couldn’t even get a restful night’s sleep, which he would no doubt need to deal with Jonny the following day. Casey didn’t want to start and all-out brawl, as he was still kinda fond of his Tenderfoot, but he was going to send a clear message that Jonny needed to leave him alone.
In one swift movement, Casey’s knee flew up and slammed Jonny between the legs. It made Casey cringe just thinking about it, but he wasn’t going to spend another night wrestling around his bed with Jonny… In a totally innocent, totally annoying way, of course! The trick seemed to work, and Jonny rolled off of him, giving Casey a chance to scramble to his feet and escape. “You deserved that!” He spat, making a bee-line for the door. If he couldn’t sleep in his own bed, then he would just have to make the long trek to the Inn to stay with Sascha, and make the long trek all the way back in the morning for dawn patrol. He just needed a good night’s sleep for once.
Casey made his way down the endless flights of stairs, sighing when he finally reached the bottom. He made his way outside at last, pausing to take in the cool night air. It really was a beautiful night, so perhaps the long walk to Sascha’s wouldn’t be quite as exhausting. After taking a moment to enjoy it, he set off towards the Inn.
Bahaha. This plan was genius! Pure, unadulterated genius. She figured by now the Fulsi must hate her for stealing their supplies, even if it wasn't much more than a few cans of beans and a small bag of chips. But in the past month she'd slipped past their scouts and borders six times, only two of which she was caught. And one of those times she got away unscathed and left a Fulsi pretty bruised. The other was a little more trying, with that assface Jace. But she'd put that behind her and was more than content to sneak back again, this time at night to up the ante. It was more difficult for her this way, sure, but it was also more difficult for them.
She was tired of hearing her Ring put down and bashed, looked upon by most of the Fulsi and Carna as weaklings who didn't fight their own battles. The majority of them hadn't ever met her - but she was intent on fixing that. And since they were currently allied with the Carna, they were spared with her solo raids. But the minute the alliance was over, Lina would be all over their docks too. Even if she ran into Adison.
Shaking her thoughts away, Adelina continued on her way into Fulsi territory. She was trying out the new, foreign shift the Keepers had stuffed into her. It was an odd feeling, walking as a mountain lion instead of a wolf. The shift was a lot bigger and slightly heavier, though she felt her agility truly coming to life. Even though she'd been faster as a wolf, this form felt so much looser in that she could twist and turn so much easier. That and her plush padded paws were so much quieter in the grass when she hunted. It had been so awkward at first, so she'd ignored it. And the time to heal from the minor invasive surgery was short, but the effects of having what she assumed was new DNA into her system had left her ko'd for a good week. But she was back on her paws, and intent on using this new form to it's full advantage.
She stood around the corner from Gospel Towers, craning her neck to look at the tall building. Her whiskers twitched and she let out a huff of breath, considering her way in. Her father had never given her a way into the building, trying to discourage her from coming here. Lot of good that did, she thought, rolling her eyes. She was about to start forward when she heard footsteps approaching, and she instantly dropped into a crouch, long poofy tail twitching in anticipation. As the Fulsi rounded the corner she pounced with a snarl, shifting back as she tackled into the man and landing on his chest with a knife to his throat. The moon poked through the clouds just then, moonlight streaming on the Fulsi's face. Adelina's snarling face eased, replaced instead with a lopsided grin.
"Hey Casey!" she chirped, rolling off him and hauling him up and drawing him into a hug. "What're you doing up at this hour?"

Casey had barely escaped the shadow of Gospel Towers when he was suddenly sent sprawling to the ground. The weight of another person landing on top of him immediately knocked the breath from his lungs, and Casey gasped for air. He was quickly silenced though, when he felt the cold steel of a blade at his throat. Sharp green eyes scanned his attacker, though it was hard to tell much in the dim lighting… The one thing he could tell was that it was a woman, and there was only one woman he knew that had the balls, so to speak, to wander this deep into the Fulsi territory. “Lina?!” Casey gasped, forgetting the knife for a moment, causing the sharp blade to draw a thin line of blood across his neck. The small cut healed before Casey could even think about it, though the blood still lingered.
It was then that the clouds parted and Casey saw that he was right. It was Adelina Russovo, daughter of his friend Bonifaco, and FulsiRing-Raider extraordinaire. He’d seen her plenty of times as of late, when he and other scouts caught her breaking into some storage room or another. Casey had learned by now to just stand adise let her get away with her spoils and her pride; it wasn’t worth getting seriously injured for a couple of cans of food. Sure, it probably made him a bad scout in the others’ eyes, but Casey knew when someone was a threat to the Ring, and this girl, though a serious threat to anyone that stood in her way, wasn’t going to bring the Fulsi crumbling to the ground by stealing some supplies.
“H-hey Lina,” Casey coughed as she finally rolled off of him and suddenly pulled him to his feet. Damn, this girl was strong. Casey gingerly hugged her back, still a little confused by the whole ordeal. “I, uh…I’m just going for a walk to clear my head,” He replied, stepping back and brushing some of the dirt from his clothes. “What’re you doing all the way over here?” Casey questioned casually, the way that friends spoke to one another. It was nothing like a scout defending his territory, much to the other scouts’ dismay. “A little far from the mall, aren’t you?”
Adelina nodded absently at Casey, running (or attempting to anyway) a hand through her tangled brown-blonde hair. She could respect that answer, going for a walk to clear your head was a good idea now and again. Hell, she was on a late night raid for godsakes, and she couldn't honestly say it was just for the benefit of her Ring. That wasn't even her real reason for being here, any how. Since Reagan's death, her confidence had been knocked down a peg or two. And since her child's passing, her happiness had died almost completely away. So she threw herself into her duties, but it wasn't enough. So she started doing solo raids to keep her skills sharp and honed, trying desperately not to let the dark sorrow overwhelm her.
She was caught up in thought for a few moments, absentmindedly scratching at the back of her neck. She tucked her knife back in it's sheath and smiled at her Fulsi friend. "That old place? Robbed it clean," she joked, cracking a raw grin. She shook her head and clapped a hand on his back. "Nah. I'm here for something much more...fun." She gave Casey a sly grin and a mischievous wink, heading towards the Gospel Towers at a jaunty, sauntering pace. "Ever heard of a pantyraid? I've got my eyes on your boys' man-panties." She snorted at the thought, turning back to Casey. "Think you can get me in? I promise I won't steal your tighty-whities."

Casey raised a curious brow as Lina began again, hinting that she wasn’t here for supplies. Despite the part of him that knew he should really turn her in, or at least give her a stern warning to stay away from the Fulsi, Casey couldn’t help but be amused by the feisty Fallen girl. He had a soft spot for her, for sure, and the way that she never stood down from a challenge. She really made life around the Fulsi a little more interesting, if you asked him. It was better than fighting off bloodthirsty Carna, anyways. So Casey stood and listened to her explaining why she was really here: …a pantyraid.
Casey had to stifle a laugh, though he didn’t do it very well. This girl was a genius. “A pantyraid, huh?” He snickered, glancing back at the Gospel Towers and imagining how many ringmates would be waking up without their undies in the morning. Suddenly, a thought stuck him. A terrible thought, really, but Casey grinned nonetheless. “Ahaa, Lina. I’ll definitely get you in,” he agreed, reaching over and taking her hand excitedly. Casey tugged her back toward the towers and headed straight for the doors, knowing exactly where to go. “Follow me!”
Casey led Lina up the numerous flights of stairs, thankfully not running into any other Fulsi. It was the middle of the night, so he hadn’t expected to see anyone, but the Scout was cautious nonetheless. Finally, he reached the door to his room again, and paused to face Lina. “I think you’d like to take a trophy from my roommate Jonny,” Casey whispered, before slowly pushing the door open. There, he saw Jonny sleeping soundly on his comfortable mattress. Of course! Casey smothered the ember of rage that flared up at the sight with the thought of what he had planned for the blonde. “Okay, I’ll distract him, and you can sneak up and get ‘im,” he finished quietly, before quickly making his way across the room to the sleeping Tenderfoot.
Casey dropped to his knees and knelt on the mattress next to Jonny, reaching out a hand to gently stroke the other man’s chest. “Jonnnyy,” He purred, swinging one leg over the blonde so that he was sitting on the man’s stomach, his fingers still roaming the Tenderfoot’s chest. “Jonnyy, wake up! I have a surprise for you,” Casey finished with a mischievous grin. It took a massive effort to keep himself from laughing, but Casey kept it together, only watching Lina out of the corner of his eye. This was gonna be goooood.
"Lead on, Cap'n!" she said with an excited grin as Casey tugged her towards the Towers. She couldn't believe her luck! And tonight had promised to be a challenge--though she had to admit this was much more exciting. Being led into the Fulsi territory instead of having to dodge and weave and worry about being torn to shreds. That was pretty exciting and worth the fun, she had to admit, but this was a good way to get in easily so she could enjoy why she was really here. To humiliate some Fulsiboys!
Adelina followed Casey quietly up the rickety stairs and toiled after him, hardly out of breath when they reached his room. She nodded as Casey explained the plan, grinning wickedly as she shut the door behind them, and waited. Her eyebrows raised slightly at Casey's approach, but applauded him--why, that was something she would do!
---
Jonny awoke groggily at the sound of Casey's voice, grunting and trying to flip on his belly so he could really snuggle down into the comfortable mattress. Seriously, what was that thing made out of, clouds? He sighed softly at the feel of fingers tracing lightly over his bare chest, and Casey's voice brought him around fully this time. A surprise? His eyes fluttered open and he struggled to make Casey out in the dim lighting. "Oh?" he asked, then noticed Casey's position of straddling his stomach. A lopsided grin overtook Jonny's face. "Ohhh~" he purred knowingly, feeling victorious. At long last, he'd worn Casey down!
Grinning wildly, he reached towards Casey and went to kiss him--but he felt someone grab his arm and yank it behind his back, followed by the other. It happened so fast he didn't rightly know what'd happened, but all he knew in a few moments was that he was tied up; and to the bed, no less. Casey had rolled off him, sitting on the bed next to him. He looked at Casey, confused for a moment, then grinned again. "Kinkyy," he growled, quirking one eyebrow.
"Just how I like it," came a strange voice, and Jonny's head snapped to the side where he conveniently noticed a tall, leggy blonde girl emerge from the shadows. She was standing there with a smug look and...what...what were those in her hands, dangling from her fingertips? "How...how'd you get those!" He glanced down and noticed that his boxers were still on, but the girl had somehow managed to wrangle off his uhh, party pants.
"Never figured the Fulsi the thong wearing types. Though I have heard rumors," the girl chuckled, twirling the leopard print g-string on her fingertip, holding it carefully away from her.
Jonny struggled against his restraints but damn, the girl had tied him up good. How the hell had she done that so fast, without him even seeing her? Granted, he'd had Casey's annoyingly adorable face on his mind..."Those...those are a joke, you panty-snatcher!" he accused, thoroughly unamused. "Untie me, righ' now! I dunnae who th' hell ye are, but ye'll pay!"
"Now, now, don't get your panties in a twist--oh, wait!" Adelina said, laughing. She saluted Casey and sauntered up to Jonny, leaning over him and tipping up his chin. "You sure are pretty. You prolly won't like this much, but I sure as hell will." she purred, stealing a kiss. It surprised the hell out of him, mostly because as she leaned into the kiss her scent overwhelmed him. Fallen?
As Adelina pulled away she winked at Casey and stuffed the thong in question in her pocket, making her way for the door. "So long, boyo's. I've got summore...business to attend." She gave a little wave and ducked out into the hallway, in search of more man-panties to snatch.
Jonny watched her go, still a bit dazed. He turned to Casey, blue eyes narrowed, hands pulling tight against the restraints that held him tot he bed.
"Untie me."

Casey felt a slight pang of guilt as Jonny so easily fell into his trap. He’d never done anything like this before, using his charms to try and get what he wanted, and he was a bit shocked at how naturally it came to him. Maybe he’d just seen Adelina pull one-too-many fast ones on some of the scouts… still, he didn’t like the feeling of lying to his roommate, even if he was an annoying brat. But this plan was already in full motion, and before he knew it, Adelina had tied Jonny’s wrists and bound him to the bed.
Casey quickly rolled off of the Tenderfoot and moved to stand beside the Fallen girl. To his surprise, he spotted Jonny’s… thong, a skimpy leopard-print thing that should have never seen the light of day. “O-oh, god…” Casey wasn’t sure whether he should laugh or not… Of course. Those things had Jonny written all over them. He just hoped no one had ever seen them on his comfy mattress. “Why..? And how?” He suddenly turned to Adelina, even more cautious of the girl’s many skills. She’d barely been near Jonny in the few minutes they’d been in the room. It was probably better not to ask, really.
Casey turned his attention back to Jonny, raising a brow as he tried to explain the thong away as a joke. He snickered as Lina stole a kiss, expecting to less of her, and remained where he was even after she left. “So… leopard, huh?” Casey asked, having to hold back a chuckle. ”Untie me.” Jonny demanded, and Casey had to stop himself from rushing forward to help him. No, this wasn’t over just yet! He had to remind himself of all the times that Jonny had made his life miserable in the past few weeks, and suddenly he was struck with a wonderful, terrible idea. “…No. Nope, sorry Jonny! Sleep tight, huh?” Casey grinned, turning and running out the door after Adelina. “Lina, wait up!”
He caught up to her, claimed his prize, and got to work.
The next morning, the Fulsi awoke to a glorious sight. Waving high from the flagpole right outside the building’s entrance, was a white flag made out of some tattered cloth, with Jonny’s leopard-print thong sewn into the middle. Painted around the thong on the canvas was simply ‘Jonny’s Panties!’, a declaration to all of the Fulsi that the new Tender foot didn’t wear tighty-whities, but a skimpy, embarrassing g-string instead.
Casey stood with some other Scouts, staring up at the flag and feeling strangely proud. “Beautiful, isn’t it?” The other scouts gave him an odd look, but they didn’t know... Casey was imagining the look Jonny would have on his smug little face when he saw this.
