The somewhat warm air swept through dappled fur as a golden, brown and black ocelot settled comfortably on the dusty ground. She wasn't quite sure why she had wandered aimlessly out of FallenRing land, but it had been one of those days. One of those days when she felt like she needed to go somewhere, somewhere a little out of where she usually wandered. She knew there were risks, there were dangerous creatures out here, more dangerous than the ones she'd encountered in this dome of hell. But she felt like she needed to get away from the normal things, or, as normal as it could get in this place anyway. She'd walked a little way out now, just on the outskirts of FallenRing territory, of home.
She looked up at the sky, eyes narrowing against the light. Her paws shuffled on the dust. She felt like she should stay here, for a bit. Before she went back to normality. She often felt like she needed these little moments alone. So, Evelyn did just that. She thought. Her mind drifted away, to a time before she was taken to this place. Her mother, her sisters. It all came flooding back. She just wished they hadn't been slaughtered, wished they had been able to stay with her. Knowing that she would never see them again was worse than staying in this place for the rest of her life.
The ocelot Evelyn snapped out of her thoughts when she heard a noise to her left. She felt the fur begin to prickle at her neck and turned around, searching the area with round feline eyes. Her tail lashed as she waited for whoever... or whatever... made the noise to show themselves.

He had wandered from that insolent canine, the one who had made a terrible impression on him, and shifted into his human form. He didn't feel as free as he did when he was a leopard, but he needed to burn energy, and this was the way to do it. Humans had less stamina, although his was still high, thanks to his training. He walked heavily, a welcome chill upon his skin, eyes of molten hazel and gold sharp and aware. Cage was preparing himself to relax- his muscles comfortable now used. He would rest well having excersized.
He continued his fast paced walk until his breathing turned hard, and immediately shifted into his leopard form. His forepaws hit the floor with a solid and audible thud, his ears turned back. Cage gazed around, eyes wide, his jaw slack. He panted softly for a few seconds to regain his energy before taking a deep breath, and falling into the familiar rolling gait of a feline. He strolled cooly, glancing up once more at the dome and wondering for a second why it was there before casting his eyes back down. Cage kept his thoughts on the glass structure vague and loose, for whatever enclosure he was in, it was better than the last. Every place he went to was better for him, more spacious, more free. This was the best Cage had ever known.
He approached a scent, and raised his muzzle to capture and study it. The oncoming information had hit him suddenly, since he was lost in his thoughts, and so he continued to walk as he scanned the scent. It was a free world in the dome, was it not? Cage switched reliance upon his eyes and quickly found what he was looking for. A golden, midnight-splashed ocelot was poised neatly to his right, his eyes fixed upon her as if she was the giver of life itself. Once more, a feline to lean upon for a few minutes, his mental stability saved. It assured his that he had not been aimlessly tossed into a world of disorganised dogs. "Excuse the intrusion," he purred as he approached her. Cage outsized the other greatly, but no less respect was given as he dipped his head courtiously and turned his ears back in submission. At an agreeable distance he lowered himself to sit facing her, his tail curling around his hind paws and the tip raised expectantly. "It is nice to see another feline," he explained hesitantly, smiling with gentle features.

ooc; wow, i need a table D< A single gust of somewhat warm air tickled her fur, and she scented it, catching a strange but pleasant odour of... another shifter it seemed. Moments after she identified this, a large (well, in comparison to her, anyway) golden and black patterned jaguar stepped into her view. She didn't recognise him at all - he definitely wasn't from the Fallenring. She wondered if she should challenge him and maybe chase him away, but then she remembered that she wasn't in her territory anymore. She had wandered outside, after all. She twitched her ears, expecting the jaguar to wander right on past like rogues normally did. But this one did the exact opposite, he actually spoke to her and sat down before her, looking quite comfortable about it all.
Evelyn usually could tell when someone was bad news, and that was definitely not this guy. He seemed friendly for his shifting animal. When she was an ocelot, she always felt small compared to other felines, as they were usually much bigger than her. She appreciated that he didn't treat her with any less respect, even if she was quite small. As he sat in front of her and smiled, she felt her facial features warm, smiling gently back at him. She wasn't sure why she felt so at ease with this stranger, especially as he wasn't from her Ring, but she felt like he could do her no harm. You crazy idiot. She scolded herself lightly. You're not even in the safety of your own territory. What if this guy is out to hurt you? She doubted this greatly, anyway.
"Not an intrusion," She replied, chuckling softly, showing pointed ocelot teeth. At his second comment, she had to smile even more, because she completely agreed with him. Come to think of it, she'd never just randomly met a stranger feline shifter and talked to them like this before. "Indeed it is." She agreed, feeling more at ease now she could tell he wasn't out to get her. Why did she always get so worried and uptight whenever a friendly stranger spoke to her just once? It was part of who she was, she guessed. She studied the jaguar's face, round golden eyes taking in the way he sat, how he talked and his golden and black fur. She was a good observer, too. She liked that about herself.
When there was silence, she spoke again. "Name's Evelyn." She smiled again, really liking the thought of talking to this fellow feline shifter a bit more, even if he was a stranger.
