She straightened and placed her feet on the ground, moving her fingers through her hair and bangs, noticing things looked more clear to her in the natural dark she was used to -- maybe she was getting even better at it; her power. Grinning at the idea she stood, shaking off the wariness of sleep and began her trek through and over the bodies of the tunnel. It was odd, she never noticed Grant's necklace before .. nor Kim's new haircut she prolly did with her knife ... the thrill of her abilities honing even more than she imagined was exhilarating. She was wrong .. oh so wrong as she stepped into the outside tunnel and suddenly realized her vision swam .. this light hurting her eyes as she scrunched them close, never needing to before as she continued forward. She was rubbing at her eyes as she went, wondering if she had gotten something in them while she walked - sometimes that happened when she couldn't see floating particles in the air. But as her eyes calmed their watering and she stepped outside and opened her eyes, she let out a strangled cry that gurgled from the back of her throat in horror and surprise. She could see/ She must have still been dreaming, she must have been hallucinating if she wasn't dreaming ... but by the Keepers hand she knew she was seeing for the first time in her life. She snarled as her eyes watered once more and yet she didn't close them this time, forcing herself to look around as she stumbled slightly, as if intoxicated. She snarled at passerby's, even though they were her own brethren, and they fled, scattering to the wind to not get within arms reach of the Lead Hunter if she was having a bad day. She found herself wandering, grasping everything and associating touches with names and now with sight. She found herself going to the borders of the Carna territory and pausing, almost overlooking the small party of humans just west of her position. She dropped the flower she had crushed in her palm and stalked forward, her palms now on the ground as it began to drizzle; her lips spreading into a crazed grin. She didn't know who they were, but she knew from the waves that were coming back to her, that they were not any of her men nor Adi's. Slowly stalking through a heavy set of trees that lead into the park she slowed, coming up behind a three she heard three voices behind. Two females and one male .. Fulsi, she almost growled at the thought, on a water collection. To /steal/ from her people ... well not today. They moved, coming around the tree in a small line as she moved quickly, her hand latching out to grab one female and swing her about to land against her chest as her other hand un-shealthed her three-bladed hunting knife. She held it against the side of the girls throat as she freaked, having screamed and now struggling against her hold; which only made her grip tighten. "Now now now ... what do we have heeeerrreee.. ?" she said with a small, eerie laugh.

The boy she’d been raised to love had vanished, taken by the only thing she couldn’t protect him from. God; in layman’s terms: the Keepers. Ixchel felt a void, as if her life was bereft of meaning. For as long as she could remember her life had revolved around Nico, and now that he was gone she felt as if the Earth beneath and sky above were continually shifting and she couldn’t get a foothold. Nothing would ever be the same, and I wasn’t going to be easy. But she was a stronger woman than that, she knew. So she threw herself into patrols, a well-trained Medic who was tacked onto outings for her skill in fighting as well as healing. She volunteered for any patrol that would take her, even the smaller ones to the outposts of the Fulsi territory. They were at the Park today, a prime spot for harvesting from the various fruit and nut trees as well as the small game that made the small forest their home. It was just a routine hunting patrol, and they had been joking just this morning and placing bets on how smoothly the day would run. She was grinning at the jackpot she’d win tonight as they started heading home with satchels full of fruit and a couple of squirrels, content with the uneventful outing. No sooner had she finished the thought than she heard a cry from behind. Ixchel didn’t hesitate, turning on heel and shifting simultaneously as her eyes alighted on her friend, caught up in the arms of a tiny spit of a girl with a knife to her throat. “Anja, don’t move!” Ixchel said, brown eyes narrowing sharply. “Myles—" she started, but the male on her flank had already rushed forward to Anja’s aide. With a sharp yowl, Ixchel bolted forward, cursing Myles' stupidity with a certainty that he had sealed Anja’s fate; for the wind had shifted, and the scent that cloyed her nostrils was nothing other than a death sentence. It was exhilarating to her, her eyes wide in a crazed state and her teeth set in a manic smile as she shifted her grip, letting her senses that she was so used to still help her. She could feel all of their breaths and racing hearts .. the girl that was in her arms obviously the loudest to her as she closed her eyes. It wasn't like she needed her vision to know what was going on as the girl whimpered in her arms. 'Please...please let me go ... We'll share what we got today for you ... p-p-please..', the girl was crying .. how pathetic. She cracked open her eyes to look down at the girl who was gripping her own arm, her eyes attempting to peer over at her while her head was poised next to the girls.. "Myles.." Her ears perked up as the one in her cat form yowled a warning and her eyes flashed up to stare down the male that was running towards her. "Nuh uh uh ... bad move little boy," she said in a high pitched sing-song voice as her grip tightened and then the girls neck snapped as she shifted her grip and torqued it to the side. She let the body drop as she giggled and spun her blade, upset that she had to kill the first one so fast. She didn't even get any blood on her as she glanced to the body of the girl that lay crumpled on the ground and kicked her over onto her side to face her comrades. "YOU BITCH!" The male named Myles ran at her, shifting into a lynx in mid jump with claws outstretched. Seija casually turned, bending backwards a little to avoid the claws as she then punched upwards to send the medium sized cat falling towards the ground, although he growled and returned to standing. She shook her finger at him, her insane grin sobering for a moment. "I'll tell you something boy .. anger can fuel the energy you have but blind your senses ... you will loose if you fight me," it was odd the way she spoke so serious just then, almost as if she was trying to give him a chance to run. Myles yowled at the insane Carna girl and went after her again, attempting to fake her out and come at her from a different side of attack. Seija glanced to her side, the other female almost on her heels now as she struck out with her tree bladed knife and caught him on it, his claws raking over her arms as she twisted the blade in his abdomen and swung the felid over her head to aim at the Jaguar that was almost there. She laughed loudly, a hand pushing her bangs up and into her mess of hair as she spun the blade once, lifting it to stare at the deep crimson liquid that coated her weapon and hand. She moved it closer to her, pal tongue darting out to lick the substance from the blade as she 'hmmmed' in delight at the coppery taste. "Did that hurt, Mr Myles? I hope so ..., " she said as she pivoted n her foot to look at her work. One down .. the second almost there .. and one to go. Oh boy oh boy maybe this one would fight back more? ooc; oh goodness .. she's going to have fun here .. x__x; bad Seija ... bad.

Ixchel's pace faltered as she watched Myles shift and attempt to take on the small girl himself. Ixchel couldn't move, her paws cemented to the ground as she watched in horror. The girl was saying something, giving him an opportunity to back out. Ixchel willed him to do so, begging her with every fiber of her being. There was something off about this woman, something dark and sinister that was more than just Carna. "Myles, no!" Ixchel shouted, a strangle snarl escaping her jaws. But Myles lunged, and the woman was swift on her feet and sank a knife into his stomach a knife--and suddenly his body was flying at her. Ixchel bunched her muscles and jumped, easily clearing his body and landing solidly, hardly losing her stride. She pushed down the bile rising in her throat, clearing her mind of any emotion. She wouldn't let her friends death's go unpunished, no. But she wouldn't let their deaths let her lose focus and get her killed as well. Instead she loosed a challenge, a low guttural roar, as she raced forward with a burst of speed. She lunged directly for the Carna woman, though at the last moment darted to the side and twisted around behind her, rising up on her back paws to lash out at the girls exposed back. Ixchel lunged for the Carna's neck, attempting to sink her teeth into the girl's vulnerable neck. ooc; short posts because of reasons!

This was blood, it was so beautiful, it's color rich and thick and warm against her skin; although it cooled far too quickly for her liking. "Myles, noo" she said in a high-pitched tone, the teasing drawl falling from her tongue and dripped with venom in each syllable. She grinned cheekily as she looked to the large feline that prowled with it's intent to kill clearly in it's eyes -- oh how fun. How marvelous that she decided to play instead of to run. She had never gotten to experience the hurt and anger she saw in this females eyes and she committed it to memory, eyes darting to the cat now as she let loose a challenge. She laughed. She let her legs slide out to her sides, bracing herself as she watched her, calculating the different moves, possibilities, outcomes ... too lost in thought she was slow to turn, her body twisting and pulling away in the same instance the claws came down. Pain through her left side told of the cats connection, and a second glance told her that it wasn't non-too deep that a Healer couldn't fix. Boy did it burn. She smiled, mockingly, as the females jaws opened with the aim for her jugular (or at least the majority of the small Carna's neck) and she purposely fell onto her back, her arms taking the brunt of the fall as her legs came up, bent at the knee as she used a great force to kick up and hard to launch the other, as well as aim the blow for her floating ribs. Take those out and she has a very hard time breathing. Speaking of breathing, she took a hard breath in, the scraps burning harshly as she carelessly moved about, springing back to her feet and spinning on her heel to stalk towards the Fulsi and where she had landed in a heap and was getting up. "Fulsi one ... Carna one ... I wonder who gets a point next..?" she said obnoxiously as she lifted a booted foot and slammed it into the others side, her hunting knife spinning in her palm once as she stalked towards her again. "Thaaat'ss twwoooo for meee" she said in a sing-song voice as she giggled and stopped a little bit from her, looking down. She could feel the others heartbeat through the ground, through her body... She could feel the labored breaths the other took and hear the soft mutterings of pain. She closed her eyes, the shapes and vibrations around her normal like they always were, showing her everything. "Isn't it three strikes and you're out, hmmm?" ooc; -covers eyes-

Ixchel yowled as she felt one of her ribs buckle under the pressure, it felt like it had snapped in half. Ixchel writhed viciously under foot, lashing out with her claws. She managed to hook one into the Carna's leg and she dragged her paw down with all her strength, attempting to cut this bitch as deep as she could. She didn't usually relish spilling blood, but this Carna deserved it. The girl backed away momentarily, mocking her and twirling her three pronged knife. "That's two for me, bitch." Ixchel spat out, watching the blood ooze down her leg, with a feline grin. She was already on her paws again, gasping around the pain of the ribs crackling in her chest. She was lucky it hadn't punctured a lung. Ixchel shook it off, flexing her claws into the dirt, contemplating her next move. "And this isn't baseball," she growled. "You Carna treat life and death like it's some sort of game," she said, prowling around the Carna in a slow, arcing circle. "If it's a game you want, a game you'll get. But you're gonna regret playing with me," she snarled, hurtling forward on her last word, claws outstretched and jowls gaping as she took an enormous swat at the girl's arm that held the knife. ooc; omg I don't know why this took me so long to reply to ;^; sosorry

"So sad, so sad .. your time is up. No more chances to stitch you up," she said in a mockingly somber, yet happy voice. "And yet you, Fulsi, are a master of games. To beat you, you see, is merely the Carnas aim." Her voice was hauntingly calm as she fell into her rhymes, and as she paused, her eyes following the cat as she circled, she stilled her blade and watched as the other leapt. Her hunting knife was shifted into her other hand behind her back, and as the feline went after her now empty arm, she curled her other under the Fulsi and pushed the blades deep into the cats chest cavity. Blood decorated her front in a sticky sweet coating as she laughed eerily. The others body was now against hers, one of which she oddly could hold up despite the nymph-like size comparison. She turned her head to bring her lips close to the others ear. "We are all players in the Keepers game, you see. Though some of us are pawns, and some of us are Queens. Freely able to move amongst the board and attack any and all intruders," she murmured softly. She cooed as she lifted her hand to stroke the others fur, twisted her other hand that held her knife to lodge it deeper into the others tissue and send more warm liquid in a gush over her hand. ooc; o.o
